## Soon Reviews
  ### 1. SOON is the best equipped to handle extremely complex schedules that I have seen.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel M A. | Medical Laboratory Scientist Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Soon?**

We have an incredibly complicated scheduling system that includes daily role rotations and varying competencies. I have looked at dozens of scheduling platforms and this is the only one that would work with minimal manual adjustments. It was pretty easy to use, the "how to video" was very helpful. There is a fair amount of setup required for us to implement, but see above about very very complicated schedule system! So it was still less inital work than many others I have tried!

The ability to integrate with TEAMS was a huge reason I initially looked at SOON, it was having a little bit of issue wanting to keep up a connection, but honestly that was just as likely a TEAMS or org network/settings issue than a SOON issue.

I think the absolute best thing about SOON is the customer support. Extremely responsive when I found bugs or had questions and suggestions. They worked so hard to help make SOON work for us including adding small features (like able to filter people by groups). It was absolutely fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

I think the only downsides are things they already have in the works. The only complaint I heard from my 40 person group when I showed them was the "my schedule" function was not super useful, and we always want more color coding for everything!!. I think once the approval process feature is added, and some more functionality with activities it is going to be super amazing!

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated scheduling will be a game changer for me. Even if I have to do some manual editing, or automate small portions at a time it is still better than what we have. Also the ability to have groups and add activities is super nice!

  ### 2. Scheduling platform that saves you a lot of time and keep things organized for teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daria G. | Deputy Head Of Customer Success Department, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Soon?**

As someone who's tried various scheduling tools, I can confidently say Soon stands out from the crowd. The team behind Soon really understands the pain points of managing schedules and has created a solution that addresses them perfectly.
The biggest win? Soon saved us an incredible 40 hours a month that we used to spend on manual data entry for shifts and time-off tracking. That's a full work week back in our pockets!
But what really sets Soon apart is its AI-powered scheduling feature. I've never seen anything like it in other platforms. It's not just a gimmick - it works surprisingly well, taking the headache out of creating balanced schedules.
The user interface is a breath of fresh air. Our entire team agrees it's more intuitive and user-friendly than any other scheduling tool we've used before. It's clear the Soon team put a lot of thought into the user experience.
Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

None so far, I absolutely loved everything about Soon.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Soon saved us about 40 hours a month that we used to spend on manual data entry for shifts (one by one) and time-off tracking.

  ### 3. It works fine

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Soon?**

That I can see what I want to see straight away.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

No connection with outlook. Does not work.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning

  ### 4. Practical, efficient and functional platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yosua O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Soon?**

The simplicity to use the platform. The features work easily and are also learned quite quickly. Also the integration with the agenda is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

It would be helpful for in future times to have an introduction to the platform. Even if it is easily understood, it would be helpful, to use the full potential of the platform, to have an introduction to the platform.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have a schedule where in one overview I can see where I am scheduled. It benefits me by being quickly accessed and easily read.

  ### 5. Soon does a good job of making a tedious task painless.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Myrddin E. | Applications Support Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Soon?**

I appreciate that the most common tasks related to scheduling (trading shifts, handling leave, checking coverage) are all handled exceptionally cleanly in Soon, with a clear and concise workflow.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

The responsive interface sometimes isn't; lost packets frequently result in a UI that misses an event or an edit, so things appear to have failed when they actually succeeded. The interface needs better error handling to minimize this.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had hoped that Soon would halve the time I needed to spend doing scheduling. That's not quite so, but this is only because Soon made it easy for me to do a better job matching our coverage needs to our workload. Our call center coverage has noticably improved without taking more time to schedule.

  ### 6. Amazing planning tool! Great UI!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margo L. | Chairperson, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Soon?**

There are many things that I like about Soon, the key aspects that I like are listed below:

- I love the fact that we can build our own templates. The fact that we can customise these are very handy and result in a lot of time-saving. We can also add or change these easily every time.
- Whenever adding users to or changing an event, it gives notifications to other users immediately, which is also very helpful and efficient!
- Whenever I am in need of help with Soon, I can always contact the helpdesk (Olaf) and helps me a lot and a quick response time!

Overall, I have to say that I have worked with various applications for planning, but this one has shown to be the best planning tool that I have ever worked with!

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

There are few things that I dislike, however, I could think of two tips:

- It would be great if I could change one thing. Namely, it would be nice to have the ability to give colours to events for easier readability of the schedule. Special events could then be noticed with a single glance at the agenda!
- When assigning a user to an event, having the option to select from a group of users instead of seeing the complete list of users would be better. I have tried using groups as a means to shorten the list of users, but without success.

Nevertheless, I find it a great tool!

**Recommendations to others considering Soon:**

To all others looking for a great planning applications; this is one of the best tools! Most importantly, the helpdesk is very quick and very helpful!

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making complicated schedules, which saves time, including automising the process of sending notifications

  ### 7. Easy scheduling program with great overview

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wouter P. | Service Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Soon?**

It is very easy to see what times you have to work, we make use of little pictograms for every shift and somehow this gives me an instant overview of my workweek.

Besides this, if you swapped a shift or something changed within the schedule the 'old' assignment will still be visible for you. In this way it is easy to see what has changed.

Swapping shifts is easy and straight forward.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

I do miss an App that I can download throught the App store. It is possible to see your schedule on your phone, but this requires some extra steps.

I hope that the 'Swap' feature' goes live soon! Now you can let someone 'cover' your shift, but if the Swap feature goes live, it will be 1 little step less to swap shifts.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need of asking your supervisor / manager to swap a shift, you can all do it yourself among each other.

  ### 8. Simple collaborative Scheduling tool with Exceptional Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriano C. | Senior IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Soon?**

I do like Soon's design, its intuition, and most importantly, their excellent customer service. Soon really does everything possible to satisfy its clients. The team shows real customer empathy, is patient, has a tremendous amount of product knowledge, communicates easily, and always does it with enthusiasm. I'm delighted with this product and service and recommend this to other teams looking for a better scheduling process and experience. This product reflects future scheduling and there is none in the market that beats them.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

No downsides from my experience other than missing intraday functionalities that would make my work even more effective. Luckily this functionality is recently announced and will be released soon. Again, Soon listens carefully to its customer needs. Excellent work.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

• Easy and fast scheduling of my team - with no hassle and less time.
• Enabling self-scheduling to my employees.
• Eliminating the use of multiple tools for scheduling.
• Increasing employee happiness.

  ### 9. Perfectly Synchronised Scheduling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas v. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Soon?**

What I liked best was the layout of the interface. I was very pleased at how easy it was to understand, it made my time at TNW that much more enjoyable, since everything was laid out in a simplified manner.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

There were no apparent downsides with Soon that come to my mind. All in all, it is an extremely convenient app which was straightforward and easy to use. However, I can imagine that an older population may find some difficulties in using the interface as they may not be as technologically adept.

**What problems is Soon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that are solved with Soon are tackling the workload of creating perfect schedules. I believe that generating schedules that result in 0 overlapping can be very difficult and due to Soon's straightforward interface, this difficulty is rendered obsolete.

  ### 10. Smart tool, perfect service and collaboration

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

There is no big dislike. Only a few minor things to improve.

**Recommendations to others considering Soon:**

The Soon team offers amazing and timely support. That has been one of the things I appreciate most about using Soon.

It has an intuitive interface for both managers and agents and really makes planning team's schedule easier!

Quite excited for some of the things they have in the pipeline, such as an analytics dashboard to view by team's performance and an auto-scheduling feature to help me automate away the very tedious task of planning my team's schedule every week – especially with the amount of considerations I have to take into account, such as their working hours, company policy, etc.

**What do you dislike about Soon?**

Haven't found something to dislike at the moment.
