What do you like best about socialengine?

SocialEngine really is an amazing tool to create a social community. It has dozens of fantastic (paid) plug-ins, that enrich the program a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about socialengine?

It really should only be used for social communities. I also recommend that you be very careful with the plugins. There are several different plug-in designers and some of their plugins don't really mix well with others, leading to customizations, which can get really messy, really fast (not to mention expensive). Plan out exactly how you're going to use SocialEngine before using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about socialengine?

It is user-friendly. The software runs smoothly. Knowledge base is almost comprehensive. UI is beautifully designed. You have control over almost everything through the admin panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about socialengine?

The support system is slightly slow. It usually takes a few days for a question to be responded. Many plugins are provided by SocialApps.tech, and the SocialEngine itself does not provide a wide variety of plugins. Unfortunately, socialapps.tech plugins have many bugs, and they are so slow in fixing them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering socialengine:

SocialEngine core system has many useful features, but if you want to setup a website with several services, you should also buy many plugins from SocialEngine itself or from Socialapps.tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
