And I decided not to buy the premium one right now. This software looks very useful for URL redirections based on locations or others. You will get great analytics with the necessary features. SmartURL allows you to manage your URLs based on your targets like SmartURL, Flex, Pivot, or Event that can help a lot for specific marketing purposes. Also I have tried to show you my experience in the pictuures that I have attached in this review, you can see them. Anyway, If you tell me to inform you in one word, I would like to say, the analytics and features are great. And I appreciate their slogan- "Smarter, not shorter, URLs." 😍🙌👍 **What do you dislike about smartURL?** As I said above, It has some great features, but still, this software has a lot to improve- 1. In my sense, this software looks challenging for the newbie. If you are new to this software, you need to spend a few minutes understanding what they are telling you. Then you can go to the next step. I think they need to give you a clear idea about this software in a simple way and they can improve this. 2. I opened my account by using my Gmail account, and then it was telling me for verification again. Anyway, I was able to verify it in the 3rd time. It's ridiculous. **What problems is smartURL solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have used it for shortening URLs, actually, but I have tried the SmartLink too. I have tried to create URLs based on countries and it was just amazing experience.😍 ### 4. This is not a big deal and does not get in the way of using the site for its main function, but it does feel like I'm using a website designed in the early aughts. **What problems is smartURL solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm trying to solve the problem of having really long URLs to share with an audience that might not be able to click right away or might be unable to click because it's on a flyer. ### 6. It also provides really great analytics and makes it very easy to see what clicks are coming from where. It is super simple and can really be used by anyone, no matter what their experience with tech is. I also like how the interface is laid out, it makes it very easy to look and see where engagement is coming from and where the link is appearing (socials, native, websites etc). The ability to also pinpoint what countries are engaging with your content is super helpful as you can target fans and clients in those specific regions. **What do you dislike about smartURL?** I do with there were more options for free users, but if you pay for the full package it is very useful and a great value. I will say as a free user you also are limited to the amount of links you can have at once, so you do need to constantly swap them out which can be frustrating. I think if you need somehting that is just for shortening then a competitor is fine, but if you need the analytics then smarturl is the gold standard. **Recommendations to others considering smartURL:** I would consider what your needs are - if you need something that shortens links and provides powerful analytics this is the software for you, but if you need something less pwoerful then maybe consider a free competitor. **What problems is smartURL solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a great way to track link clicks and to create separate links that go to the same webpage. This is especially useful when sending links to partners that you need to track the engagement on. It has been especially useful when doing things like ticket links - you really need to see where the engagement is coming from, and with smart url you can track it very easily. I also like how user friendly it is , you really can just insert the link and then go. ### 7. It's user-friendly and the basic free version is okay, but a higher-priced version ended up being necessary for me. **What do you dislike about smartURL?** The price is the biggest downfall for me. There are plenty of sites that offer similar services for free, of course, this usually results in a bit more work, but the trade-off was worth it for me. The cost was also billed yearly and I would prefer a monthly bill if I'm not saving any money by paying a year in advance. **What problems is smartURL solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was targeting a lot of different countries and locations, so this was really helpful to quickly create links for all of them.
