I love the ease of deployment, making it simple to implement across the organization with very little learning needed. Their integrations and available connectors are a huge plus. The scalability is another great aspect, allowing us to grow and adapt as needed. The platform's design is very straightforward and user-friendly, with a graphical user interface that's super intuitive. It offers seamless integration with our Microsoft 365 user database and effortlessly links all our assets, which automates many processes for us. The initial setup was absolutely smooth, just a one-click integration of our directory, and the ability to upload and edit CSV files was a game-changer. The fast adoption rate and streamlined process make it very compelling to use. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** There are some occasional hiccups, but those are connected to Setyl's rapid growth. Some updates that are being pushed sometimes require a little tweaking. Linking our data sources in is a breeze and then the system does all of the heavy lifting in matching different sources to avoid duplicates. Applications timeline helps us manage our software renewal dates. Setyl helps us with our onboarding and offboarding as well as renewal workflows and is an integral part of our daily routines. It also sorted a massive headache for us allowing us to give restricted access to some users in remote sites to help manage hardware assignments. Scannable Asset IDs and simplicity is all just an icing on the cake. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** The only thing I wish it would have is a mobile app that's as easy to use as their web platform, having said that it is possible to do things in a browser on a mobile phone already. **What problems is Setyl solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps us track all our software and hardware assets with easy, connecting multiple sources into one easy to use system. Employee onboarding is super helpful, and we LOVE the asset management features of Setyl. The support has also been phenomenal. Any time we have run into any issues with Setyl, their team is able to get on a call with us almost immediately to resolve our issue. They constantly have new things and features in the pipeline, and they are more than willing to share their roadmap. Our managers have really appreciated the updates that are sent out in relation to software that they manage as well. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** So far, the only issue we've had is in relation to login tracking for SaaS applications, but most of that is due to the SSO that we use, vs the SSO that they currently have support for. **What problems is Setyl solving and how is that benefiting you?** Setyl is allowing us to manage our software and assets in a way that benefits everyone at the company. It helps us to track our monthly spend for software, and also allows us to have accurate asset tracking. Assets can be categorised by business, location, legal entity etc. which gives us an overall view of assets allocated by business and location. The subscription functionality allows us to track what each employee has subscribed to, what assets they have assigned to them and also from an inspection point of view, we can schedule any PAT testing or other inspections as required. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** I wish Setyl would have an Android or iOS app. I find scanning the QR code a bit hit and miss sometimes. It would be easier if you open the app, then click scan and scan the QR code and the app would retrieve the information. The app could take advantage of phone biometrics to authenticate the user, removing the need to log in via the website after scanning the label with your phone. Also, having the ability to upload assets without help from support would be useful. **Recommendations to others considering Setyl:** Make sure you have a structured plan on how you want your assets categorised and what information you want to record on each user profile. **What problems is Setyl solving and how is that benefiting you?** We moved away from using spreadsheets to track assets and has given us a more structured way of managing the IT equipment in the business. ### 13. Setyl allows us to keep tabs on everything we've signed up for, who's using it and crucially how much we're paying. Also useful that it allows you to do the same with physical devices, so it's become our go-to location for storing information - when devices were bought, how much we paid, who they're assigned to and when the warranties expire. The other good thing is that they keep adding new features and updates - the tool keeps getting better, even though we don't use all the features. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** No dislikes at this stage, interested to see how the tool develops. Hoping for a Quickbooks integration at some point. **Recommendations to others considering Setyl:** They have an integration with Xero if you use that accounting software. **What problems is Setyl solving and how is that benefiting you?** When employees arrive or leave it's allowed us to confirm what devices need to be handed over, for example. On the software front, just having a single location where all our subscriptions are listed and accounted for has given us peace of mind and a useful reminder to review whether we actually still need various subscriptions each month. ### 14. Their interface is really intuitive, all needed features are included and well-thought. The integration with Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure and HR systems makes it a piece of cake to set it up. The sent labels for asset tracking are handy and durable. Very handy is the upcoming shadow IT functionality. Adding inspections to assets comes in handy for maintenance and regular checkups. The finance integration keeps costs low and gives forecasts for upcoming hires. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** No dislikes for now as Setyl rolls out new features very frequently which is great. No other real competitors, this as their product is unique and offers insights for Servicedesk, IT, People and Finance. **What problems is Setyl solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Setyl we got insights into the 200 tools that were used in our organization. There are some really useful functions in the service which include the ability to scan a new asset tag with a phone, go straight to the Setyl page and add the new asset. I also like that it can store contracts, keep track of users, and allow a teacher to scan a device they have found to see which student it is assigned to. Setyl as a company are also incredibly responsive to requests and feedback. **What do you dislike about Setyl?** It would be nice to have asset tags that are non-removable. Or asset tags for different requirements such as waterproof etc. **What problems is Setyl solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're saving time by tagging and scanning the assets for loans, and finding who a device has been given to when it has been discovered lying around. ### 17.
