Most items won't pop up unless you get the word and spelling exactly right. It brought order and efficiency to our procurement and payment process. Purchased to satisfy an observation (PO control process could be improved) during external audit, no queries from audit team since. Good value for money. System can be configured to suit requirements, you can make it more or less complicated as necessary. **What do you dislike about Planergy?** Export to Sage 50 could be improved but this may be a Sage issue and not Planergy? Multi-line invoices export with less detail than required and custom fields cannot export. **Recommendations to others considering Planergy:** It just ticks the boxes! **What problems is Planergy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ensuring full sign off against each PO according to our D of A, with full audit trail retained throughout. Compared to its competitors, it is priced much more reasonably and has no monthly support fees. **What do you dislike about Planergy?** The only dislike is some features that need to be added haven't been implemented yet. However, the company is working on solutions to better provide us the tools we need. **What problems is Planergy solving and how is that benefiting you?** All of our purchase orders are now in one place with the appropriate corporate authorization structure set up. Planergy has also allowed us to go completely paperless and continue to grow in scale without the need for additional staff. ### 5. Both work well and make completing and routing POs much easier than our old system of completing an out-of-date Excel file template and emailing it around to the list of recipients that aren't well documented. **What do you dislike about Planergy?** In our configuration, billing codes are not clearly defined as it's the finance department that manages which purchases are billed to which codes, but we, as the initiators, are asked to complete that information. It results in some back-and-forth with PO reviewers before approval. Our main issues has been around having freelance colleagues adopt it which is not about the software but about our internal processes. We had a very lengthy process for approval of purchases in the past. Spreadsheet based system that took days to get approval. PLANERGY allows us to see when our items have been approved, and when they have been purchased. If anything, maybe, we often do not purchase items without a quote first.
