NextAgency is the agency management system its customers would design.   ### 1. Flexible system with excellent customer support

**What do you like best about NextAgency?**

I like the flexibility compared to our old system, especially the way it helps us visually organize and present client details instead of relying only on reports or spreadsheets. The pipeline view is a good example, and we’ve also been able to tweak parts of the system to better fit how we work.

Most of all, I appreciate the people behind the product. Samuel Osei and Vinil have been very responsive whenever we reach out, and they’ve done a great job providing customer support. When we suggested a new integration with GReminders they worked with them to help make it happen.

We take advantage of the NABIP pricing and pay annually. It does save us a bit over the system we used before per seat. However, our overall spend has increased because we can use more features that are the pay as you go kinda things like email marketing or we use the concierge service to help with our initial data migration or monthly commission statements. Generally speaking, the system performs well and we haven't had many system outages or things like that that I can remember.

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

Every system has quirks or limitations or limitations which anyone who has done software development knows that there is a balance between pushing new features and keeping the production system running. I think the biggest challenge is more around bandwidth for them to implement all of the "great ideas" that come their way which is really code for "features that person wants custom built." In a perfect world, they would be able to have two development teams. One who review existing features and optimize, refine or improve them and the other team develops new ideas from concept to creation. But who knows - maybe they do or have an even better way of working on the backend.

**What problems is NextAgency solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Who do we serve, how are we serving them, how are the finances, and how do we best serve them? We never ran commissions before because the AMS system required us to figure out how to map the carriers' spreadsheet, which is always a challenge since every carrier has its own unique way of reporting. Having a concierge service that already knows their software makes it possible. Yes, it's a paid service, but it helps us track where the carriers' payments are and ensures there are no missing policies to add.

**What do you like best about NextAgency?**

We liked the user-friendly layout of NextAgency. The next best part was that if we did get stuck, the customer support team was quick to respond and very helpful. NextAgency made it easy to set up recurring reminders that were group specific. It also allowed for easy customization of the information displayed on each screen.

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

We found the integrations with other software to be clunky with Next Agency. We struggled to connect our Office365 accounts.

**What problems is NextAgency solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextAgency made it possible for us to maintain client data for the whole agency in a central place. We moved from paper folders to NextAgency about 10 years ago. We've tripled our revenue while maintaining a similar sized staff.

**What do you like best about NextAgency?**

NextAgency is a comprehensive CRM system that helps me stay organized and prepared. Having this all-inclusive system allows me to maintain complete and readily available client and agent information. I recommend this for individual agents as well as agencies that have multiple agents. Individual agents are in need of the amazing customer support that NA provides. The system and the customer support representatives make it easily adaptable to my specific needs.

There truly are no 'dislikes.' Whenever I have had any issues or needs they have been responsive and helpful and never let me down.

NextAgency provides a single location to store all of my agency and client information from every line of business that I sell.

Easy to use.  Customer service is great.  I always get a response quickly.  I love that there are no contracts and the price is more than reasonable.  I use Next Agency daily.

I wish the tasks reminders would show up on my phone.  Remembering to assign tags

The features to manage our agency are all there!   We are transitioning from paper, file storage and another system - so excited to have all the information in one place and integrated with our benadmin system.  This is our daily go to for client service and support, client management and planning.  It's easy and powerful!

It's so powerful, we have only tapped a small percentage of available resources.

NextAgency is easy to use and is user freindly. Using the program has allowed us to have access to the information for our clients anywhere. When we have had questions or problems that have come up customer support is quick to respond. The program is intuitive which also makes it easy for new hires use the system. I use this program daily. Tracking the work that I have done with my clients in one location has allowed me to serve my clients more effectively.

It is a struggle to not be able to move a file from folder to folder. Having to go and re-upload is an extra task.

**What problems is NextAgency solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our agency recently moved to an electronic system. We are excited that using NextAgency allows us to go paperless. As an agent in the field I have access to all the information I need at a touch of a button.

Its very easy to use! Everything is lined out in front of you in a way thats very comprehensive. The program also has lots of resourses to help you along the way. Customer Support is also extremely helpful.

Updates are a bit off. Some availabilities are inacurate to what is actually listed.

Their customer service is top notch!! The platform has limitations but anytime we need help doing a complication task they are helpful with quick replies and video how to's customized to our needs and not a generic video. They also take feedback for improvement seriously! It's awesome to have a CMR that can run custom reports, create check lists, tasks, track appointment notes, policy status, and so much more! Once we got our data transferreed from Excel to Next Agengy it was so easy to use! We use this CMR every day.

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

I wish there was a bit more customization to fit your specific insurance lines. We work with Individual Health and Life so some features that work for group or commerical just dont work for us. We have folks who go by different names but we cant search by that info. The auto update for policies isnt as good as it could be. If something goes effective 1/1 it would be cool if it would auto change status from pending to active.

Customer Service is fantastic and will work with you to make sure your experience with the system is a positive one.  It is fairly customizable which has been helpful in utilizing the tools to fit our company's organizational needs and quite user friendly.

Not every system tab is able to be customized at this point in time.  We also some issue with the NextMail sync.

NextAgency has been helpful in getting our company data online and organized.  We did not have a system like it before and they have worked with us to make sure our experience was, and is, a positive one.

The pricing is great for our agency, but the custom service we get is the best!  Startup / upload of initial book of business was very easy to use and we use it every day! My main use is commission tracking and running reports with the ability to sort by various features - while other agents in our office like the ability to keep up with leads

I would like my commission report that I run to come in a different format

Ease of use with the ability to customize to your agency. Customer support is excellent. We use it all day long internally. Next Agency is constantally adding features.

I can't think of anything.  Every program has speed bumps but i am very satisfied with Next Agency.

Next Agency is our data management for all of our clients (groups and individuals) and we also use it to post our commissions each month.

The fact that it works for employee benefit agency management was the best I saw in the market

There is not a lot I dislike about it.  Sometimes there are glitches in reporting but they fix them right away

We needed an employee benefits system  not p & c.  Most systems are geared more towards P&C and dont work for us.

the folders/files feature seems repetetive and its not clear (to a new user) which folder a file should be uploaded to.

I am simply a user that is a part of a large agency using this as a CRM.  I have no problems at this point and no input regarding any issues that it solved for me

Not much to dislike about the product. The reporting function could be a little more user friendly with clear instructions on creating custom reports

Great customer service!  Representatives are responsive in a timely manner.  They listen to comments in enhancing the program.  Assistance via Youtube are great help me.

We wouldn't be able to do everthing we do for out clients without it.  It helps us manager our clients, tasks and communciaton so we don't drop the ball or miss an opportuntiy.

As long as I am near Wifi and have my laptop, I can login anywhere and access client data since Next Agency is cloud based.  Perfect for a busy individual on the go!

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

Staying on top of the updates can be challenging.

**Recommendations to others considering NextAgency:**

Ease (formerly Ease Central) appears to be another popular AMS, but I hear it works better for larger companies and comes at a high price.  If you are a small to mid-size company then I would certainly give Next Agency a chance due it the superiority in how well it functions, excellent and very responsive customer service and the fair price.

It saves time as our prospect, client and carrier information are on the system which allows our fim to work more efficiently since we are not pulling files as often.  This also allows us to focus on increasing sales and growing.  Although we currently do not use it at the moment, Next Agency also that has a feature that reviews commission statements which also saves times.  This is very nice since most insurance agents I talk to dread  doing this task.

**What do you like best about NextAgency?**

One of the best things you can do as a business owner is being able to communicate effectively with a prospective partner who's able to listen to your needs and being able to resolve them. I've called and spoken to 20+ commission automation companies, none comes close to clear, transparent communication and willingness to work with you. You can tell the teammates enjoy their roles and work towards the same goal. If you're an insurance principal or an owner who either acquired an agency or is looking to improve their commission practices, this is wonderful as you create custom fields for reporting, and easily pull reporting on policy numbers and group numbers. At minimum, you will do good by getting their trial and seeing if it's a good fit for your needs. It is most definitely worth a shot and your time. Oh, before I forget, their pages are fast and you don't have to wait a bunch of time like other commission reporting softwares out there.

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

I can't say there was something I disliked. I wish there was more awareness to this company. Whereas other ranked higher on google searches and reviews, this one stood out significantly in communication, SPEED (not waiting for pages to load), and more.

**Recommendations to others considering NextAgency:**

Highly recommend NextAgency if you're an agency principal or owner looking to automate commission reports based on policy number, group number, and having the ability to customize your reports for your reps. Their communication is by far superior to any other company I've reached out to regarding automating commissions. It's super important to communicate well and be able to express what your needs are to someone who's attentive and will work with you. Their platform is pretty speedy too compared to the others I tried.

Saves quite a good amount of time and provides me the ability to easily gather commission and reporting. Ultimately it helps us keep track of our referral partner's payouts monthly and when we want to.

This is not a "canned" platform that does not allow for versatility, yet it is easy to learn and navigate.  The  leadership is willing to listen to and implement new ideas  that make the platform even more versatile.  It is obvious that this platform was created with the broker in mind!

The NextAgency customer service is exceptional via email, phone or online meeting .  They listen and seek to understand what your end goal is so they can best address your questions.  The online videos and articles are well-written and have thorough instructions that equip the end-user for success.

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

There are some minor  "tweaks" that could be made to improve navigation for the end-user.  Like having a "save" button at both the top and bottom of a page.  Being able to review detailed notes on a case without having to adjust the window size.  Simple things that eliminate key strokes and scrolling for the end user.  I know these are coming based on conversations I have had with NextAgency.

**What problems is NextAgency solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the struggles we were facing was steps were being missed on new group implementations or renewals.  The workflows and checklists within NextAgency allowed us to set up tasks that take the Account Managers sequentially through all the steps required for implementations and renewals.   

We are currently implementing the commission module and anticipate that it will help us identify commission payments that are due to us but have not been paid.  It will also allow for reporting of the value of the book of business for each broker in the agency.

We were able to build our CRM tool all by ourselves and did not require outside consultants to built it out saving much time and money. You also get a very nice discount for being a NAHU member which is great.

There are individual, small group and large group but does not have a button separate for medicare. As the medicare space is so different from the individual market it would be nice have them separate as well.

Worth a look, very clean system, I don't know how to use everything but I know if I want to I can figure it out quickly.

**What do you like best about NextAgency?**

After over a year of research looking for an insurance agency CRM system I happened to find NextAgency. I looked at a lot of good systems and at widely divergent price points. Several things eventually drove me to send hard on hard-earned money to NextAgency, and agree to do that every month.
1.	Learning curve  - They provided detailed tutorials (in real person language incidentally) on virtually everything you can think of that you can review before you sign up with them. And they actually welcome your questions and provide you answers.

2.	Personal accessibility - If you send an email to Alan Katz, he gets right back to you. How many cyber based companies have you ever dealt with that that happened for you.

3.	Compensation download - Initially the deciding factor was that I could literally download my commissions from insurance companies directly into my NextAgency account and track them. Several systems (expensive ones) offer that to property-casualty companies but this is the only one I’m aware of that actually works for a life and health agency.

4.	Constant candor - every other system I contacted had some overly exuberant salesperson promising the moon the stars and everything else. If anything, NextAgency underplayed the amazing capability of their system. There is no hype, there is no overpromising, there are just people you would like as friends and neighbors providing a high-quality service, at an excellent price point.
Every CRM system promises you can put all your contacts, and your clients, in the system and that it’s going to be easy. Any of you who have done this realize it is never easy and has a long and frequently complicated learning curve.  As I have begun to put information into my NextAgency system the most striking aspect has been that every time I think “why doesn’t it do this” I find that it does do that. For example, today I thought it would be nice to have all of my entries alphabetized. And there it was at the top of the page, a single click on an arrow and everything was instantly alphabetized.

**What do you dislike about NextAgency?**

Not much but now and then an entry point freezes. It happened today and I submitted a question. I had a response in under 10 minutes. Compared to my Microsoft issues and the non existent service with Nuance, I see this as  a very small issue that is to be expected in any computer based system.

**Recommendations to others considering NextAgency:**

Take the time to learn about data entry and consider getting the spreadsheet of entrees to their team. I just started putting things in and now I have to make corrections. Corrections are simple but would have been limited had I taken their advice.

**What problems is NextAgency solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All my problems have been of my own making as I learn the system.

Benefits? OMG - clients are already asking if alien's abducted Bill because they are getting answers faster and in better detail.

As our (P&C heavy) agency just onboarded with a larger software suite, our benefits person didn't want to have to maintain two data sets so we had to unfortunately discontinue using NextAgency.
