It is particularly problematic to note that the company also states that it does not issue refunds, even in this type of situation. In practice, this means that you can be charged and then lose access to the service immediately after, with no possibility of recourse. Furthermore, beyond this billing issue, the tool itself is far from living up to what is advertised. The performance is generally disappointing and the value for money quickly becomes excessively high compared to the alternatives available on the market. I therefore recommend the utmost caution before subscribing. This is evident in their recent policy changes, which have forced me to upgrade my plan even though my current needs were being met. It's as if they're punishing me for being a loyal customer by forcing me to pay more for a service I don't need. When no one meddled in my creation process of a document I spend a lot of my time changing to fit. **What do you dislike about MailerSend?** This exact investment of using the features has become meaningless because this particular work was updated with forced elements onto it and I have no optional control over it. Especially when the promise was that it won't have any forced elements on it. The integrity of the decision-makers for the features brings meaninglessness to the features. I can't trust that anything I do going forward, anything I produce with the features will get drowned or not. **Recommendations to others considering MailerSend:** I won't recommend, this problem is not a problem that is easy to fix. But the extension doesn't do anything, contacts still need to be imported manually. After trying to import contacts manually, mailersend tells me to upgrade because I cannot import users without credits. After upgrading, mailersend tells me that the subscription doesn't do anything for new contacts, but I need to buy credits to import them für 250$. The pricing is great, with a super generous free plan. The dynamic API instructions reduce integration development to simple copy & pasting. The drag and drop email builder has way more pre-built blocks than any competitor and the templates are really good looking and practical. **What do you dislike about MailerSend?** There's a slight learning curve when it comes to the drag and drop email builder, especially coming from competitors. Some controls aren't where you think they'd be. Some of the API error messages are hard to understand at first. **Recommendations to others considering MailerSend:** I would encourage anyone looking for an email service to test drive MailerSend. There are a ton of options in the transactional email sector but MailerSend provides better value than most others. Our mailersend account was suspended after some time so we contacted support and discussed the issue. They saw this as an opportunity and charged us 4x of the existing bill. Previously I had to use other plugins that required a more complicated setup with Gmail. **What do you dislike about MailerSend?** I was hoping to use email templates with some of the standard WordPress emails that go out, such as new account confirmations and password reset emails. It turns out you'll need to use the API and will want a developer that can implement that for you. While this is probably ideal for websites with a large volume of emails going out, I don't require it enough to merit hiring someone to set it up. **What problems is MailerSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need to ensure that our emails are sent out 100% of the time and don't get sent to spam. Until MailerSend, we used Gmail or Zoho with an SMTP plugin and another plugin for logging. I had tried MailerSend for one of my other projects, when I noticed a blog about how to use MailerSend for WordPress, I thought I could give it a try as I had some limitations in SendInBlue (only 300 mails per day), and it blocked mails when it's sent too frequently. I saw another plugin for MailerSend in WP plugins; though the plugin had a low rating, I had enough trust that it would be helpful as I had noticed the support team gives good help when needed. MailerSend worked like a charm instead of SendInBlue. Don't forget to disable WPmail to get this working in your WordPress site. **What do you dislike about MailerSend?** Need of registration to get essential 12k emails per month. It could have worked better if 6k mails per month were provided without any need for card registration. The payment plans could give you more emails for the same cost, but that's my consumer brain just trying to get more for less. No reason to use Googles standard workspace smtp servers **What do you dislike about MailerSend?** So far i have found nothing of any issue, time will tell on how robust the system is but so far so good **Recommendations to others considering MailerSend:** Just go for it, it's entry point is free so no loss if it does not suit you **What problems is MailerSend solving and how is that benefiting you?** I Utilise a paperless system created in Joomla.Initially all emails were processed via Google's SMTP workspace servers. To be fair this has worked flawlessly however one client has a far stricter policy for email verification and Google's SMTP servers whilst working elsewhere were not being received by the client. The issue was more due to the Joomla / Google combination. I tested MailerSend to see if this would solve the issue, and sure enough, Joomla / Mailersend resulted in all emails being received correctly by this one client. ### 35. Also, their KYC process is flawless and quick; I was able to use the full features only a couple of hours after signing up. They have a great dashboard with a vast amount of valuable data about the emails sent, very well organized, and with powerful filter functions. I contacted support once to ask for the availability of a feature (SMTP relay) and got a friendly answer within mere hours. They implemented SMTP relay a couple of days later. The API is very fast to accept emails, and Sent-to-Inbox time is almost instantaneously, which is very important when sending password reset emails etc. MailerSend's free tier is beyond generous, their regular pricing is very affordable.
