## Kite Reviews
  ### 1. A good code assistant but needs improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash W. | RPA Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Kite is a good AI code assistant. It supports multiple languages and can be easily used. It has increased my productivity and saved a lot of time in typing everything. It also has a great feature of documentation lookup which helps in looking for the documentation of a specific block of code and see its usage. It works smoothly and never almost lags.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Kite's AI Assistant suggests code as you type. It comes up in a drop-down menu kind of thing with the suggestions which I feel is a little downside of using Kite. Other AI assistants like Github Co-pilot are actually showing it in the code editor which makes it visually appealing and easy to understand the code before using that code block. I feel if Kite does that then it would be very easy to write code but other than there's nothing as such a dislike for the software. It is pretty good.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kite has helped increased productivity in writing code. It was earlier tiring to write code word by word but now with the help of Kite, we are able to write code in fewer keystrokes. With its awesome code suggestions, it makes it easy to write code if we are stuck somewhere. Its code suggestions are almost accurate which helps in writing less code, saving time, and increasing productivity.

  ### 2. The best assistant of developers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali K. | Full Stack Web Developer, Python & Django Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Unlike other alternative code complements, Kite can also deliver codes in blocks. And while doing this, it makes use of both artificial intelligence and the codes you have written before. It does not tire the IDE, it works fast and beautifully.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Kite is perhaps my favorite software as a software developer. I don't know what I would do without him. There is no cons. A perfect helper. Maybe it can be said as a minus that the developers do not opensource the project and continue to support it.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It speeds up and simplifies the coder's writing speed. In fact, we can say that if used correctly, it also provides education.

  ### 3. It gives good and detailed information and insights on stocks and companies .

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maanavjit S. | Business Development Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

UI and interface is very good . it is very simple to use.Safety which is a concern today is provided well by this application.Indicators are very helpful in this application.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Chart pattern is not very user friendly, It sometimes freezes which gives a disadvantage while trading. There are hefty charges for registration as well . It would be better if they worked on that.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Go for it, UI and interface will enable you to use it seamlessly , which help you to make better investments.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to me get a good insights of companies that i usually look forward to invest in . Also the indicators provided enable better understanding of the chart patterns.

  ### 4. A very good coding assistant for text editors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit G. | Software Programmer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

It is a perfect AI coding assistant which comes at no cost to the user.
Its best feature is its auto-completion feature which helps in increasing your efficiency.
It can be added to almost any text editor and comes at no cost to the user.
It tracks your code writing behavior and then suggests the other code that is just awesome.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

It is just an AI coding assistant; therefore, it does not have much to offer. But, the work for which it was made, it entirely does it. Hence, I do not find anything that I dislike about it. The only thing they can improve is by providing patch updates more early.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

I will surely recommend Kite to all the software developers to add it in their text editors to speed up their code writing speed.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kite being an Artificial Intelligence Coding Assistant increased my productivity by more than 25 percent, helping me finish my work on time. Also, it comes at no cost to the user, therefore , it does not hurt your pocket. I am currently using it in Sublime text as an AI coding assistant primarily for Python.

  ### 5. A good coding assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Kite is one of the best coding assistants, which can be integrated into almost all the code editors available on the internet. It also comes with a lifetime free plan for those who are tight on their budget. Kite decreased my project completion time by almost 30%, which is just fantabulous. Last but not least, it has support for nearly all the programming languages which one would think of.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

I do not find anything prominent that I dislike about Kite as it has not got much to do. It is a AI-powered code completion software that performs its task wonderfully.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

I want to recommend Kite to all the code developers to increase their coding efficiency.
But I don't know why Kite has recently gone out of service and become unavailable, maybe because of some maintenance.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No second thought, Kite has increased my coding efficiency a lot and helped me finish my projects on time, all thanks to the AI software behind it. Even if you buy its premium version, it is worth every penny you spend on it.

  ### 6. One of the best coding assistant.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourav S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Kite is one of the best coding assistants I have ever used. It can be used with almost any text editor available. It comes at no cost to the user and, therefore, does not hurt your pocket at all. It is worth adding in your text editor if one needs to do coding on regular basis.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

It is a bit buggy software and hence, sometimes crashes when working on large projects. But, this happens very rarely. Except for this, I do not find anything that I dislike about kite.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Kite is a free AI add-on that must be tried out once by every developer.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The sole purpose of using Kite is to increase your productivity, and so it helps you too. With the help of Artificial Intelligence and recommendations, it has definitely improved my productivity.

  ### 7. Perfect tool for Programmers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav S. | I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Kite?**

The tool is available for so many languages that it is most likely to be available in what you code in. It has a vast library and suggests perfectly the syntax and the code snippets required.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Sometimes UI makes it uncomfortable to select the line I want to write. It gets in the way of the actual code written.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

I would highly recommend using Kite because of its versatility and vast library and support with multiple languages.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it with my IDE, SPyder. The idea is to have a completion software which helps me during my programming related tasks and assignments.

  ### 8. Pretty great AI autocomplete

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Kite?**

It works pretty well, and it gives you some great suggestions. Sometimes it almost feels like it knows what you are thinking.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Sometimes it doesn't give the best suggestions. Also, it is pretty heavy and feels like it slows down my IDE.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it to help in writing day to day code. The benefits I have realized are increased speed in writing code.

  ### 9. Barely usable for certain development scenarios

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Kite?**

well, it works (under certain circumstances) and provides suggestions (the same quality as some IDE plugins do, don't expect anything magic)

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Totally useless for me.
Does NOT work for remote development over SSH (in VS Code at least, I have not tried anything else), so if you have to SSH - forget about it, it won't work.
DOES NOT WORK ON M1 Apple Silicon Macs and the team have no clue when it will.
You can only manage your subscription in Kite copilot, so if you're on new Mac, you have to pick up a win machine just to unsubscribe. That's a shame.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

make sure you're NOT on new Mac and you only work locally

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

im not able to solve anything with it because it does not work for my scenarios

  ### 10. Easily integrates with the code

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arth P. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Kite provides good data storage and integration feature with database servers and more features for coding in python. It can be integrated with many popular IDE's like Pycharm, VsCode, Intellij, Sublime, Spyder etc. It significantly reduces time when coding redundant programs.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

The IDE is not an open-source tool and it is not mature enough to use in a big project or organization. I think the deep learning and AI algorithms they are using can still improve. Also, the team version provides support up to 100k lines of code and some complex systems have more than that many lines of code which makes it unusable by most organizations.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

If you're a heavy user for Python and its IDEs, then I would recommend using Kite rather than IDE's intellisense.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now the time efficiency of writing a huge chunk of code has been improved by using Kite. It definitely helps deliver projects on time using fewer resources.

  ### 11. New Python Programmer Using Kite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey G. | Director of Product and Customer Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Kite?**

The autocompletes are very helpful. The software is helping me grow as a Python Developer.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Sometimes the "following cursor" feature does not work on my machine. Also, when it suggests autocompletes the box gets in the way.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cleaning up code and streamlining the development process.

  ### 12. Best Python Code IDE

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenifer V. | Member Board Of Directors, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Kite is one of the best answers and it has dramatically changed my coding life. This interface is easy to use and implement. Thanks to the manual driver, the Kite IDE makes Python coding very simple. Something I like is that I can easily mix in it with an online repository.

In addition, it has an auto-complete feature that eliminates the need for full typing to complete the encoding line and helps me save a lot of coding time.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

There is no question that the Kite IDE is an excellent programming tool. However, I noticed that the program uses a lot of memory available to other applications.

If you don't have enough memory, it will become unresponsive and lag, which can be frustrating.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

If you are a early beginner in coding, I would recommend the Kite IDE. It works very effective and is easy to use. You will have an easy time to study and research your project.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used the Kite IDE all through my coding career. Since I pondered upon this tool, I have created business plans and systems for large organizations, such as generating sales and client reports. With a kite, I can always complete my project on time and get the number one results.

  ### 13. Best AI IDE

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine S. | EDI Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

I like coding very much, and the kite really helped me. In my experience, this is by far the best solution in the business. It has a very user-friendly interface and is therefore easier to use. The interface is clearly suitable for the screen. It also has AI-driven auto-completion and document lookup. I highly recommend it to everyone.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Kite has a very good tool, but one thing that disappoints me is that it doesn't work for Linux. I just like to use the Linux operating system. In addition, it requires a high memory usage, which is a bit annoying.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Currently, the web application market is expanding. Kite offers a wide range of abilities to make your work easier. The program often refreshes the IDE, and the terminal is great because you won't get tired of navigating from one window to another.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kite to help my clients solve their business problems, such as creating customer records, sales reports, and billing. Usually, I use Kite to provide a business solution.

  ### 14. Good Idea For An AI IDE

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle R. | Frontend Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

I tested Kite before but I seem to have some problems using it. So, I went back in using Notepad++.

Interface is okay and pretty simple, but I just do not feel it, but I would still recommend it to others. Why? It can be integrated with other code editors and since it is an AI, it helps you complete code lines.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Kite is so slow on load initiation compared to Notepad++, and that is a big factor for me especially when I am in a hurry.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

It is a relatively good tool and I think new developers/programmers like kids below my age will like it.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I saw that the AI has some great potential. I never particularly have used kite on a larger scale project so this review is just applicable to small scale task I have done before.

  ### 15. AI Driven Powerful Code Editor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah C. | System Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Well, I love coding, and I speak through Python. One of the best things I like about Kite IDE, it is AI driven, and instead if writing a whole line of code, it autocompletes it for you. Additionally, you can easily connect to online repositories like bit bucket and Git Hub. With a huge library of Python codes, it is easy for one to have fun while using this IDE.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Do I really have an objection? Well, it is not a dislike but a concern. The tool takes uses high memory, which otherwise can be used by other apps.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

The demand for applications is on the rise, and I would recommend this IDE for anyone who is looking to venture into Python programming and wants to see the magic of code auto-completion.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I Have used Kite for creating business solutions. I have used Kite to create CRM systems that are used by one of the largest farms in managing their bills and customer records. The system allows them to create reports which are beneficial in decision making.

  ### 16. Very good program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artyom Z. | typical user and normal worker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

The best program in the business. She helped me move up the career ladder. I am very grateful to her. Of the benefits of this program is a very user-friendly interface that fits perfectly. Plus you can list the usability of the program. Highly recommend everyone to try.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

To be honest, a little annoying is the lack of color change on the main background of the program and changing it for yourself. Or maybe it is and I just did not find it.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

I would like to move in that direction. Fix old improvements. The project has a great future. You are great

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only did a little thanks to this program, but in the future, as now, I clearly plan to use it as the main program.

  ### 17. Great solution for python projects - Kite IDE

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar M. | Meghani sagar, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

i like it's auto suggestion feature that let me complete my code line without writing full. and it's design, black window with white font that lets you focus on important things and it feels geeky too.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

most dislike thing about Kite is it's advertisement, i know that advertisement is way of their earning but when you completely in your work with full focus and suddenly advertise appears and you lost your full focus from your work and need to start again is something i don't like.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

yes i can recommend kites to my friend as it can help them in their work like write a code to develop business solution and they can also practice with kite IDE with various language support.

  ### 18. Project and Documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshna P. | Projects and Documentation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Kite is an AI-powered programming assistant that helps you write Python code inside Atom. When running the Kite Engine for the first time, this be guided through a setup process which will allow you to install with the Atom package. it will view and change the Kite Assistant's settings by finding Kite in your list of installed packages.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Although KITE does not pretend to be a first level editor, I must say that it has become outdated and this is especially noticeable for the web design. It is also noticeable in the content that is added as part of the web, mainly HTML tags that close badly or use tables that are not for tabulating data.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we will ue the KITE for developing the projects with satisfies results.
Make sure that the plugin is working properly. If the plugin is correctly installed then it is possible that the Kite engine is not returning the data you expected for the current file. The installer is very light, which is consistent with the little RAM consumed by the application and the speed with which it opens and closes.

  ### 19. Enterprise file management, secured by Accession

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash L. | Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Makes it very easy to send files over to teammates over a secure network. Being an IT MNC, Its very important for client data to not leak outside of the network, hence our company enforces use of Kite for data transfer to teammates

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

For some reason, all files have an expiry date. Might be done to minimize data storage and to clean out unwanted files, but long term backup gets harder. Also not possible to mount kite and use it as a hard disk

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Just do it! Unless you need to restrict the data, else you can also use Office 365 onedrive subscription

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transferring files to teammates, and restricting access within the network

  ### 20. "Best IDE? Kite!"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma p. | Software Developer, Computer Networking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Its basic UI makes coding a lot less demanding . It contains heaps of devices and it is good with numerous modules . It investigates the code and shows you on the off chance that you have submitted an issue and where it is . I like the new console works that have been included as of late and the auto-finish , blunder aversion and inquiry capacities . The program incorporates Github, SASS support.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

The program takes high memory use and here and there it gets a bit laggy on my comuter, for the most part when I am working with substantial records. I discover it somewhat costly and it hasn't got an extremely decent help.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

The market for web applications is expanding, Kite gives numerous capacities to make the work entirely charming. It goes very quick, they refresh the IDE always, the installed terminal is a marvel since you don't get tipsy changing from window to window.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's incredible IDE and aides in pinpointing mistakes in the code by means of assemblage, linguistic structure featuring and different other code investigation highlights. It enables me to associate remote host, pulling records straightforwardly from organization servers to the IDE and putting altered documents specifically back on servers.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick N. | HR Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

The list of codes being suggested is awesome! Very similar to how I first discovered excel formula auto completion system. This saves me so much time thinking about the code I'm planning to input. The one-click document feature is pretty awesome as well. It's pretty darn fast due to the no cloud requirement!

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Nothing that I can think of right now. A bit of a small learning curve being aware of just using the shortcut suggested codes rather than typing the codes out myself.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Give the demo a shot and see if it's beneficial for your programmers. Some might prefer typing out the entire codes themselves but after getting used to the shortcuts, it'll make a big difference.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker coding and troubleshooting programs coding errors. This saves me a tremendous amount of time after getting the hang of it.

  ### 24. IDE for developer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmadou N. | Soccer Referee, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Offers a huge deal o f tool to developers to help them with compiling the codes they are putting together and a few built-in functions. The pricing ain't bad either if you are looking for a professional IDE to help you and your organization

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Used a lot of memory to run in the background and would like it to be as light as possible so my processor power could focus on other more pertinent tasks

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

It is worth trying this IDE. Many IDEs are fun on the free market but you never know which one really does the work for you till you give a try

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency in writing codes and debug.
The best IDE is the one that offers the developer a simple way to debug the program

  ### 25. Did it's job well, But was a bit more complicated than necessary

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric F. | Owner/ Lead Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

As far as code editing goes, it probably yields the best results out of any AI co-pilot on the market. It definitely delivered on its promise to "supercharge" my programming experience.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

I found that there was a difficult learning curve to fully integrate this system. I am not an IT professional, so for the common person attempting to integrate and use this software, a lot of patience and additional research is required.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Hire an IT pro to teach you, or be prepared to invest a lot of time learning yourself.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have much of an online media presence, and so I got Kite in the hopes of building a unique, organized website. It certainly helped me put in a lot of unique features, and made the coding much more efficient in the finished product.

  ### 26. Go Fly A Kite!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt O. | Asset Manager at TCG Property Management, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Whenever I first struggled, I didn't know what I need. When one of my coworkers advised - try Kite, they can help! It helped us to innovate using a structure that has been there done that.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

There is nothing I dislike. The price is a bit much, obviously free is preferable but I know that's unrealistic. We all have to make a living!
Actually, come to think of it, it would be helpful to have an 'outline' or 'set structure' for brainstorming.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Give it a shot. You won't be sorry!

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Structure, communication have been solved using Kite; we have been able to realize organization of ideas and implementation. Let's be honest, you can't SOLVE things with software. But they have helped us very much get toward the solutions that we need.

  ### 27. One of the best IDEs for Python

What I like the most is that it is software that is very easy to use, in addition to being cheap and even free. Another thing I like the most is the autocomplete.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

There is nothing I don't like, but sometimes there are features that would be good to have added.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

If you want to see what this software can do, perform a test to see how fantastic it is.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I finish the projects well before the deadline to which I am subject, having more time and freedom.

  ### 28. kite

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordyn H. | Alumni Relations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

I think kite is very benefical to code and efficently use it to better my knowledge on the more technolocial side of things. i also think kite is good for learning, it isnt very complex, where i felt i couldnt learn to use it.,

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Kite is also very new, and innnovative, its is yet to be made as efficent as it could be, i think theyre could be areas of imporvement in mobility around it and how easy it is for everyone who maybe dont have any background in coding.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i think it is very helpful for people who dont have alot of technological experience to learn how to use techonology to their benefit and code different things

  ### 29. Fixes what I hate about IDEs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald C. | Sales Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Kite?**

Autocomplete in Sublime Text is actually helpful, unlike in many other IDEs, and saves me some of the hassle of searching Google. I especially like that it runs completely locally.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Doesn't always work so I still need to search Google of course. They are making quite a bit of updates so perhaps things will change.

**Recommendations to others considering Kite:**

Give it a try! It's good stuff and they have yet to demand money from me.

**What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time when it works. I don't have to open 20 tabs to look for sample code to remember how to do certain things--it just shows up in your IDE.

**What do you like best about Kite?**

I am a hardcore user of python on Atom, so I like how Kite is an easy-to-install autocomplete python package. It's great that they provide code suggestions as I type. This is fantastic for pair programming or even learning to get better as a programmer.

**What do you dislike about Kite?**

Occasionally, kite injects promotional content to the IDE. I understand the need to build their user base, but i don't know how they are using us as the guinea pigs to test their new products. **What problems is Kite solving and how is that benefiting you?**
