## CloverDX Reviews
 ### 1. Customizable Pipelines, Easy Setup with CloverDX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavlo T. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

I like how CloverDX allows me to quickly build custom ETL pipelines with its easy-to-customize components. I also appreciate the ready-to-go components it provides. The CTL2 and the ability to create custom functionality are great because they help follow the DRY paradigm and enable code reuse. Additionally, the initial setup of CloverDX was very easy, which was a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

I dislike handling data contract changes or dynamic metadata in CloverDX. When a file changes, like having more or fewer columns, I have to rebuild the pipeline and create new metadata.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CloverDX to quickly build custom ETL pipelines with ready-to-go components, customize them easily, and create reusable code through custom functions.

 ### 2. Customizable ETL solution for a modern data architecture

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vipul C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

added security, quality of life, and AI features with latest updates to keep product fresh and up to date.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

AI integration is slightly lacking. Can directly pipe your Claude/ChatGPT API client, but not embedded naturally like a smooth IDE would be.
AI also lacks the super technical works of CloverDX, so it's not able to do everythingggg in CloverDX. I've found it best as a true assistant to bounce ideas and some code blocks off of, rather than telling it to build me a graph or give me new components directly.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-integrations/migrations between different systems
-data transformation and load via DB and/or APIs
-process automation and performance/job reporting

 ### 3. Flexible Hybrid ETL with Powerful Visual Design and Predictable User-Based Pricing

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

Users consistently praise CloverDX for its, flexible, low-code/high-code hybrid approach, allowing developers to handle complex, specialized, and automated data transformations easily. Its strongest points are its robust handling of edge cases, powerful visual designing tools, and predictable licensing costs that are based on users, not data volume.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Common complaints about CloverDX focus on its steep learning curve, particularly for the CloverDX Transformation Language (CTL), and complex debugging in deployed server projects.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX solves complex data integration, migration, and automation challenges, primarily helping companies move away from brittle, manual, or script-heavy processes (like Python/Excel) toward scalable, automated workflows.

 ### 5. Ideal for Businesses with Multiple Points of Sale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen B. | Sales manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

I love how CloverDX allows me to have multiple points of sale under the same company, which is ideal for managing a business like mine that needs different points of sale for various products. I also value the ease with which I can perform daily, monthly, and annual closures, as CloverDX provides me with clear transaction details, which is crucial for financial tracking and business stability. The daily reports are another feature I greatly appreciate, as they help me efficiently manage my inventory, allowing me to make more informed decisions and maintain an adequate stock. This facilitates a level of control over the business that is difficult to achieve otherwise.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The part of the employee check-in and check-out is sometimes confusing. There are system failures when performing these types of actions, and most of the problems appear as error codes in the application.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CloverDX to manage multiple points of sale, facilitate payments, and obtain detailed transaction reports, which improves my inventory control.

 ### 6. AI and Usability Improvements Pave the Way for the Future

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepak P. | Director - Cloud Practice & Digital Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The most exciting new thing, by far, is the introduction of AI and machine learning components. This is a game-changer. The fact that CloverDX now allows you to run machine learning models locally for things like data classification and anonymization is brilliant. This keeps sensitive data in-house and addresses a lot of the privacy and governance concerns that we, as data and enterprise professionals, have to deal with constantly.

Other new OpenAIClient component is also really cool. It lets you integrate large language models (LLMs) into your graphs, giving you the power to do things like text summarization, content generation, and smart data cleaning.

I'm also a big fan of the improvements to the Data Manager and Wrangler. The ability to share Data Manager across multiple environments and the enhanced usability in Wrangler, like the Undo/Redo functionality, make a big difference in day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

While the new features are great, there are always things that can be better. The learning curve for some of the more advanced concepts and the CloverDX Transformation Language (CTL) can still be a bit steep for new users. While the documentation is good, a more interactive, guided learning path directly within the designer could help a lot.

Also, some users, including myself, have noted that the support response time could be a bit faster. While the quality of support is excellent, a shorter turnaround on complex issues would be a significant plus. The overall library of out-of-the-box connectors could still be expanded to cover a wider range of modern APIs and services.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX is helping us in complex data transformation tasks.

It helps business in simplifying the tasks with large data set and providing capability for the cross comparision.

 ### 7. Powerful Data Pipeline Automation, but Complex for New Users

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

I like that CloverDX makes it easier to automate complex data pipelines while still allowing customization through code when needed

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The platform can be complex for new users, and setting up advanced workflows sometimes requires technical knowledge

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the main problem it solves is data being scattered across different systems and formats. Many companies have data coming from databases, spreadsheets, APIs, cloud apps, or legacy systems, and it’s messy and hard to combine. Manually moving or cleaning that data takes a lot of time and causes mistakes.

 ### 8. CloverDX Transformation Tool

The API integration in the tool has proven to be very useful in building new graphs which we use to connect to ERP system to load data by submitting necessary jobs which reduces manual effort.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The online documentation could be added with more info, like detailed examples on how to use specific components/functions which would be useful. Some documentation is really good while for few others there isn't much information provided.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX is helping me do validation and to perform necessary transformations and prepare files efficiently and effectively, which I believe would take more time if done manually.

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

I have been using clover to automate a lot of my processes and the way CloverDX is set up helps me to automate my tasks in such a simple and effective way. The UI is simple, easy to understand. Other than that, it also helps when the functions are able to be connected from one part to the other. I am also able to train other teammates on the usage of cloverDX in case I am absent and the graph needs some update urgently.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The coding part is abit tough for anyone who has not been exposed to any codings before, so the part where we have to manually add in the codings is a bit difficult to be explained to the team members

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX helped me to simplify complex file and export out the important details needed, as well as helped in mapping and de-mapped the items needed for my project. Helps in terms of cutting down production time by mapping and de-mapping the items. **What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Debugging and errors are never clear in the console, sometimes errors are differnt and console shows something very different to that and which is not understandable too.
Documentation needs to be improve and maybe some video recordings are needed for the beginners to understand.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As per my case I have used Clover DX for integrating the data coming from different source systems like data base, CRM or excel making it easier to access & use for transformation.
We have created automated graphs to do the staging, transformation & migrating the data which helped us a lot and saved our time during the project and we didn't have to use the same tool for different graphs, everythign was setup into the automated graphs.

It has also helped in transforming the data from client's legacy system to the Oracle Cloud ERP.
We can connect to it using Database too which makes data mapping really easy.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

System crashed sometimes when dealing with very large files, just have to be patience a bit.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client Data Validation and transformation for Data migration to another ERP system

 ### 21. Modern, robust, and very flexible. Learning curve involved for complex solutions.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The CloverDX Designer is robust an relatively easy to use, once you grasph the paradigm of job flows.
A large collection of building blocks is provided out of the box, and custom components can be created for readers, writers, or transforms that aren't available out of the box using their proprietary "CTL" language or pure java.
Debugging capabilies are pretty powerful, especially when running a local server instance.
Learning curve is low for many simple usage patterns.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Doesn't accommodate a multi-developer, source code-controlled, multi-tier enterprise team very well. Every developer will need their own server license and diffing code is challenging since graphs are persisted as XML.
Advanced use cases quickly exceed the capabilities of users who are not developers or very advanced data analysts. We've found that someone who is already grounded in ETL concepts and development make the best advanced users.
Complex usage and very large volume workflows often require advanced troubleshooting capabilities and tax the system's capabilities.
Support tickets rarely get attention before the next day for U.S. users.
Missing out-of-the-box integrations with most AWS services that are not based on a common open-source project (like Aurora with Postgres or MySQL). We had to build several Gramlin readers and writers for our graph DB us cases.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handles very complex transform scenarios.
Fairly nice features for debugging transforms
Has robust job management feature in server and cluster configurations.
Exposes transform graphs as REST services. API's make it possible to orchestrate processes on multiple tiers automatically.
Plugs a lot of whole in terms of moving data around and processing our primary data feeds.
Highly advanced users can develop re-usable "modules" that abstract some of the complexity for lower-skilled users.
Scales well with advanced techniques, like parallel processing.

 ### 22. CloverDX simplifies complex data projects but has no clear error description

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The ease te extract data from any source and transform it. Also the Code used by Clover is very easy and very intuitive

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Error messages that not always doesn't represent the real issue.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Extracting data from an old Microsoft ERP-system to another, newer, Microsoft ERP-system. Clover makes it, once we go through all the ambiguous errors, very easy to map and transform data form old to new.

 ### 23. CloverDX for Conversions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason J. | Technical Solutions Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

It is flexible, modular, reduced maintenance, increased accuracy. You can develop common processes (graphs or subgraphs) to be called by other graphs. You can package them into jobs. You can create user facing data apps that provide a simple user interface/page where the users can attach their file(s) , run the process, and receive their output.
You can create/maintain common layouts/definitions in one place and use them across all processes.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Nothing comes to mind. You might think run time parameters or global variables, but once you understand the context/usage of Clover sandbox parameters, graph parameters, dictionary entries, and parameter passing between graphs/subgraphs, you can do almost anything.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a consulting firm that helps government, commercial, higher education, and healthcare organizations move to cloud applications. We use it primarily for data conversion and data loading to cloud (SAAS) applications.

 ### 24. Very streamlined and capable ETL solution.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon R. | Network Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

CloverDX has allowed us to take our ETL to the next level. We were using many SSIS packages to accomplish this. With CloverDX, not only have we sped up our onboarding time, but we have been able to add QA and alerting to jobs that have made our process more robust and capable. We have greater confidence of the data integrity. If a job fails, Clover logs tell us exactly where and what failed. It has reduced the trouble shooting time down from hours to minutes now.

Customer service has been outstanding when we have needed assistance.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Documentation, while pretty good, when it comes to complicated workflows, examples and explanations are lacking. But for the daily most used features, documentation is very good.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementation time and troubleshooting have drastically been reduced.

 ### 25. As a ETL visual tool, Clover gets the job done fairly well

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The most helpful aspect of CloverDX is that it is a visual tool, which can help you simplify and visualize data flows. As far as ETL processes are concerned, I have not encountered any lack of relevant features that you might need. Additionally, the debug feature is very useful and fairly intuitive. Another positive aspect is being able to run scheduled processes on Clover Server.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

One downside of Clover is that when you are working with large or complex data flows, the graphs can become visually cluttered and confusing. Large data flows can also become laborious to update or add new features because you will often need to update several components of a graph when you want to adjust one small feature. Another big downside is that version control can be very difficult and cumbersome to implement, especially when working with a team of developers.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX is solving the problem of loading data from various sources, mapping that data, and loading it into various database tables. Clover makes it easy to visualize and implement this process.

 ### 26. A Comprehensive and Powerful Data Integration Platform with small community

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

CloverDX can handle a wide range of data integration tasks. It can Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from a variety of sources, making it suitable for diverse business environments.

The software provides excellent scalability and can deal with both small and large datasets, making it suitable for businesses of all sizes.

CloverDX boasts of swift, efficient, and supportive customer service which is beneficial particularly for beginners.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The availability of comprehensive documentation might seem insufficient, especially for troubleshooting and learning purposes. CloverDx developer community is small.

Getting started with CloverDX might be challenging for beginners as the initial setup process is slightly complex.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently CloverDx is used for data Integration and creating reporting and analytics pipelines. To extract data from data warehouse, transform and execute scheduler scripts.

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The layout of the CloverDX application. Through its various components it makes it easy to turn your data into exactly what you need. Also, it is highly visual which makes it easy to follow your data from start to finish and know exactly what is going on with it.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

I have found it difficult to access data in the Cloud through CloverDX.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data needs to pass various quality controls checks before it can be released to clients. These checks when done manually can take several hours, but with CloverDX they take seconds or minutes.

Tracking data throughout the pipeline.
Helpful OOTB components.
Visually see the pipeline and data flowing through it.
We use it every day to process day.
Server showing history is cool to see flows.
Good range of integrations.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Any visual programming tool is going to be limited by it's DSL, the limitations for Clover are that since it's XML under the hood conflicts are VERY hard to reconcile making it hard on larger teams.
Integration of custom code (especially non JVM) is a pain.
App can take a long time to load.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to standardize import of data

 ### 29. Scalable, Efficient and Excellent ETL Software

 ### 31. Easy to use ETL tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth M. | Consumer & Media View Product Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

It was easy for most semi-technical users to learn how to create graphs in Clover for automation.
The team at CloverDX provides great support both in the initial setup phase as well as ongoing.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Connecting our fileserver to the server running CloverDX is not as easy as hoped. We usually need to transfer files between the servers rather than have the graph retreive the file direct from the fileserver.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating many of the manual processes done by our operations teams including executing change requests consistently and quality control. This has freed up resources to take on additional work.

Using CloverDX during data migrations has been incredibly helpful and allows us to proceed with system migrations with limited people resources. We were able to quickly write graphs to transform data from one format to another with minimal effort and high accuracy.

Another area that CloverDX has been useful is combining and processing large volumes of data quickly. This has allowed us to do analysis on our data sets that we would not have been able to do without it.

 ### 32. Powerful and versatile ETL

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

CloverDX has an intuitive programming interface and improvements to create more 'end user friendly' UIs is appreciated as well. The ability to connect to a vareity of data sources and process the incoming information at a granular level with replicatable building blocks of code in valuable. We've used CloverDX on in-house servers as well as in AWS hosted environments with great success.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Some features that we found useful in prior version has been deprecated without a replacement being made available. We understand this happens with all systems but it does have a negative impact on our workflow at times. Support is standard for a system such as this and as a small company we find it hard to fund more extensive support at times.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX has fully replaced our traditional web page scraping processes and has more versatility to adapt to changing displays of data by allowing us to fully extract, transform, and load data in a variety of markup and styled formats. We also automated the generation of reports for our company using a full CloverDX process.

 ### 33. Clover DX is helping streamline all of our ETL

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

It is a flexible ETL tool that helps us achieve and streamline our data goals. It has also revolutionized how we can QC and Validate our data integrity. We have recently started using it to integrate API calls from outside sources to improve our automation further. It is an excellent tool with many different facets for your data needs

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The most prohibitive element of CloverDX is it's cost. I know that software developers and companies need to charge for products and services, and the price is often well spent. However, CloverDX does seem to be on the high side of pricing for these types of data tools

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX is helping us streamline and revitalize our data ingest and customer output. Its ability to efficiently work with flat files and data streams from multiple formats allows us to provide flexibility to our clients.

 ### 34. Powerful ETL Tools for data transformation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naomi D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

Many powerful ducntions developed overtime. The map i.e. Reformat function enables most of the transformations to be done once in one place. It can be done in simple pre-built functions or even more comlicated queries using ETL languanges.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Some of the fuctions are still missing. I would like to have most of the simliar built-in functions as in Excel for the consistency. As an example, there were no PROPER function to caplitalise the first letter.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data mapping and transformation are pretty easying using CloverDX. With the ability to extract metadata from SQL/CSV or other source file, source data loading becomes easier.

 ### 35. Bit of a learning curve, but once you had enough experience, it is straightforward.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

A small, but very important piece is the counts of data on the connection edges.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Documentation sometimes misleading, and setting up git is a bit of a hugs

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data mapping between different systems makes a big difference in terms of traceability.

 ### 36. A very useful tool for system integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

Clover is a universal tool for creating many different system integrations. It allows you to optimize business processes by automating repetitive tasks, data migration or creating user-friendly forms of data access. The multitude of available technologies means that you are able to connect technologically diverse systems, and their range is successively developed. You don't have to be an advanced programmer - it is a low code solution easy to learn and use. Creating and managing schedules is super easy, and the console also gives you the ability to control fails and manage access to sandboxes. I use Clover in my daily work, and yet I haven't discovered all the functionalities yet.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Sometimes the tool documentation is too laconic, but I always get the answer to my questions from the Clover support.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of control and fail management. The console gives you many notification options, which makes fail analysis easier to perform, especially when you manage dozens of integrations in your team.

 ### 37. Extremely powerful tool, but feels a tad clunky at times.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

Extremely powerful tool. Easy to learn and to understand, and I've found myself using it for tasks no matter how small/large the data-set is. Especially for database connections and csv writing.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

A tad clunky; the Eclipse-editor style felt good 7 years ago, but when we're now used to tools like IntelliJ, anything Eclipse-based feels a bit rough.

Last I checked, it lacked Proxy support for some sftp-related components, which meant I was unable to achieve some business critical tasks without implementing it myself.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schedling tasks
Dumping data to SFTPs
Whenever additional data (whether it's as simple as a csv csv/text file, or comes from many sources which need significant transformation) is required in a database query / report generation

 ### 38. Very Effective ETL Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael J. | Data Integration Manager, Insurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2017

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

I like that with only a small amount of investment in learning you can create some pretty powerful ETL Graphs. As you progress and learn more and more you can start to use more advanced features and programming, but if you don't want to invest a lot of time in a deep dive, you can still get a lot accomplished.

Once you do get proficient with the software, you can really simplify and speed up a lot of what was once manual work.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

There is a bit of an initial learning curve but it pretty quickly plateaus and then only gradually increases if you decided to do a deep dive.

**Recommendations to others considering CloverDX:**

There are a lot of ETL companies out there, and each one has pros and cons. Clover had a nice mix where it allowed for more advanced functions and custom java programming, but had a price point that was far less than other companies with similar levels of customization that we needed. There are also some community or open source offerings from Clover and other ETL companies that you should check out first so you can get a feel just using the bare bones features.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We received spreadsheets and CSVs from 100+ companies and we needed a way to automate the process of loading all this disparate data into our CRM (Salesforce). We also need to have processes run over night to clean existing data.

 ### 39. Fix your data transfer issues with CloverDX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim C. | Chief Compliance Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

We can take multiple client formats and by using CloverDX upload them all easily into our system of record. Without it we would have to waste valuable engineering time to do the data transfer.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

There is a bit of a learner curve to start using CloverDX. While they try and make it ready to use out of the box the more complex the data transfer the more you need to know how to use it.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it is solving is that all clients have different ways they send and want to receive data. This complexity makes ETL and Data Mapping time-consuming and difficult to do. CloverDX resolves these issues for us.

 ### 40. Good Support and Prompt Releases

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The support provided by CloverDX team is excellent and the product itself is good. Good product documentation, built in alerting and monitoring, and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Some code improvements needed to support sso/saml integration. Some more REST APIs may be exposed to allow automation for end users.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help integrate data and manage the scheduled runs.

 ### 41. Comprehensive and robust ETL solution with consulting support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

The tool is easy to use and powerful, but the people are by far the best part of the product. I've found that the consulting teams take an active interest in partnering with us as a customer,

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

I wish I had more time to devote just to learning the product. The documentation and training are both helpful, but it takes time to learn a powerful ETL system.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clover is allowing us to create maps for transforming customer data before that data intersects with our core SaaS platform. This gives our customet-facing team flexibility to work with customers even before the platform is modified.

 ### 42. Perfect for beginner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

CloverDX has been a helpful automation tool in my company for the past few years. It is perfect for me, a beginner in CTL/CTL2 who is always looking for ways to shorten the time-consuming process.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

I wish many companies would get to experience CloverDX, and it would also be nice to have CloverDX cheap plans/rates for personal setup.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the past few years, my team has always used traditional data processing and checking, which involves a lot of Excel or Google spreadsheet files. It is time-consuming and requires several resources to verify the data quality. However, when the company began introducing CloverDX to my team, we shortened the process's hours to just a few minutes. It gave us ample time to multitask on several projects and a clear view of process improvement.

 ### 43. CloverDX is a fantastic tool that makes moving and transforming data quick and efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

I like the governance and monitoring capabilities of Clover's server tooling. I have never used a tool with better-integrated monitoring than Clover. This is definitely its killer feature

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

The oddities of CTL. It feels like a half-done language that only reduces the number of characters needed to write Java code. I'd like to see it get more fleshed out and provide more functional-programming utilities. ETLs naturally fit into that paradigm very well, and it would help to be able to write complex transformations in an FP manner.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly ETLs. We use it for moving data between locations primarily. I find the monitoring to be the main reason why I prefer Clover. Anything else I write, I have to bake the monitoring into the tool itself, and Clover takes care of that for me.

 ### 44. Review CloverDX

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daan (derk) d. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2023

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

Graphs look oversightfull/concise
There is a lot of off the shelve functionality availabe, such as database connectors.
We can easily collaborate on projects.
Scheduling jobs using the server is very easy and works great.
Reviewing ran jobs (execution history) using the server also works great

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

It is hard to transfer graphs or functionalities between different projects. I would like to create a standard jobflow and share it within projects.
The same goes for functions, I would like to create flexible functions and share them between projects.
The MAP graph element does not accept multiple input ports, if it could, i could create super flexible graphs if needed.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting clients data from either csv files or from Salesforce to our internal systems, mostly databases.
Creating management data reports, and automatically sending them to clients.

 ### 45. Excellent Product for ETL processes

**What do you like best about CloverDX?**

Easy-to-use components allow you to extract data from many sources and easily transform it and pass it to different destinations.

**What do you dislike about CloverDX?**

Learning another language (CTL2) made it a little more challenging to get into, but once you get the hang of it, that problem disappears.

**What problems is CloverDX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloverDX allows us to take data from multiple applications and use it within our various Quickbase applications. We can pull data via DB connections, API calls, etc. and easily push to Quickbase with built-in components in Clover.
