Calibre is a complete tool used mainly for converting between text formats such as doc, pdf, and epub, but it also has tools to create covers, make corrections, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Calibre has everything that is needed; perhaps the only thing that could be improved is its visual aspect which reminds us of the interfaces from past generations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
calibre is an easy to use e-book manager, also calibre's user interface is so great. It is great for both casual users and experts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
only it needs knowlegdeable experts to set up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it works with .mobi and .epub files. Also that I can share books across devices. Also I'm a big fan of open source software so this works perfectly for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a little clunky to get used to. Sometimes I'll be trying to load a file and I can't tell if the software has crashed or not. Also there is not a version that works on iPad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a good organization tool for ebooks. It's really easy to view files and organize them when downloading items from the web. I don't think there's a tool quite like this from its competitors, plus it's easy to download and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a little clunky and it's not updated very often. It's a little aged and it's hard to navigate if you don't understand software. I'd like to see bigger text and user friendly options, especially for our older users. It's also kind of confusing to explain how to download items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoyed how intuitive everything was on their interface. Solutions were simple to use, and representatives were always responsive and helpful. Caliber is pretty straightforward to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike, honestly. It took a bit to get used to, but it was simple. Every call was recorded in high quality, so I can't complain. There were not too many cons. The solutions were easy to follow as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I do not need an operator to transcribe the conversations and that there is automatic tagging and word recognition Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't particularly appreciate that the word tagging is isolated to only exact words. It would be nice to have a dictionary lookup for similar words Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love having all my ebooks, pdfs, etc. in one spot. It's easy to change the format of any book I need, and easy to add the books from Calibre to my ereader. One of my must-have apps on my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really isn't anything I dislike about Calibre. It's relatively easy to use, super powerful, and can be downloaded and used for free (although donations are appreciated). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
