What I appreciate most about 8th Wall is how straightforward it is to create and launch high-quality web-based AR experiences, all without requiring users to install an app. The implementation process is impressively simple—adding AR features to existing web projects takes minimal time, and the documentation is both clear and well-organized. The WebAR tools offer a lot of flexibility, enabling me to rapidly prototype and publish interactive experiences that perform reliably across mobile browsers. As a developer, I also value the robust editor environment, the strong tracking capabilities, and the seamless integration with the JavaScript frameworks we already use. The primary challenge with this platform is that, although it offers robust features, the pricing may be somewhat steep for smaller projects or experimental builds. Additionally, performance can fluctuate depending on the device and browser, occasionally necessitating extra optimization efforts. On a positive note, customer support is highly responsive and has been excellent in assisting with setup inquiries and resolving technical issues. The active community also contributes a wealth of shared examples, which greatly simplifies troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
