What I Like Best About 7taps Microlearning

What I appreciate most about 7taps is that it truly allows us to meet employees where they are. Nearly half of our workforce does not have email access and does not receive digital notifications. With 7taps, we can deliver training directly to any device, even via text, so employees no longer need to leave the production floor for long training sessions. At the same time, our office team can receive the exact same content through email, creating a consistent, blended learning experience across the entire organization.

What Is Most Helpful About 7taps

The most helpful part of 7taps is its ability to simplify and streamline training delivery without sacrificing learning quality. Our microlearning modules average just 10 minutes per topic, which has significantly reduced the amount of time employees spend away from their workstations. It’s easy to create, easy to deliver, and easy for employees to consume.

We are also leveraging 7taps as our communication tool, allowing employees to opt in to receive important updates via text message, another huge step toward closing communication gaps for our non‑email workforce.

What I Like Least About 7taps

The main drawback for me is the limited customization options within the AI‑generated course features. When 7taps automatically creates a module, the avatars used in the content can’t be customized, which makes the final product feel less aligned with our brand and our audience. I’d love to personalize those visuals so the training feels more tailored and consistent with our other learning materials.

What Is Least Helpful

One of the least helpful aspects is that I can’t opt out of specific card types, such as polls or video-upload prompts, when using the AI generation tool. While these interactive elements are great in theory, they aren’t always appropriate for the type of training we’re delivering, especially in a production environment where video recording isn’t feasible.

Because the system automatically includes those cards, I end up spending extra time manually removing or editing them during the polishing stage.

Downsides / Opportunities for Improvement

Extra cleanup time: The auto-generated modules often include features we’re not ready to adopt, which adds steps to the editing process.

No ability to disable certain card types: Having more control over the content the AI includes would make the workflow much more efficient.

Avatar limitations: More avatar customization, or the ability to select preferred styles, would help the training feel more consistent and professional.

I appreciate the newer look and feel of 7taps Microlearning, and people really like how the cards limit how much material they are reviewing at a time. I like that I can add more interactions without it feeling heavy. It's easy to use, and the AI feature is great and quick. I like how quickly I can make changes, and it pushes me to make better lessons by using more of the features. I like that my changes automatically update to the shared training. The role play and the AI video are the features that stand out for me. The role play is simple but a great reinforcer, and the AI video generator is so handy for training. I really find 7taps Microlearning helpful because it provides immediate access to our learners through SMS messaging, which greatly increases the uptake of our training. The fact that the lessons are microlearning lessons, only five to seven minutes long, means they can be done within the daily schedule without pulling team members away from their duties. The interface for creating content is very easy and logical, allowing me to put together content quickly. The analytics behind the lessons are also great and very useful. It's easy to export data, which is incredibly user-friendly for both creation and administration. The setup was super easy, and I could get a basic course set up quickly. There's lots of features that we don't use because I don't think they're at the level they need to be at the moment. Specifically, there's a lot of AI avatar-based scenario cards, but I don't feel these would land well with our learners, so I just don't use a lot of that content. Additionally, while Seven Taps offers opportunities in terms of translating resources from other formats into its content, I'd like to have more control over that. The best thing about 7taps Microlearning is that it allows us to easily create high quality training material that's delivered to learners in a format they are familiar and comfortable with on the types of devices they already use regularly. The reporting is robust and gives us the data we need to make informed decisions, and the product is easy to implement and integrate into our current LMS and training libraries. The biggest challenge is not being able to replicate our company's organizational structure within the platform. To be fully effective, we need to be able to organize and view our learners by department, team, etc. Being able to give leaders view access to reports and stats would be similarly beneficial. I do also wish there were more integrated guides and templates to help with creating microlearnings for certain purposes (update to an existing process, skill development, new product or system, etc.) using learning best practices. Creating courses in 7Taps is extremely easy! You can create an entire microlearning course in minutes with the A.I. features. You have a ton of creative freedom when buliding the cards, including adding images, backgrounds, videos, and even quizzes. The best part- it all dispalys beautifully on a smartphone, which is the perfect format for these micro-learning modules. Probably my favorites feature - being able to send your modules to learners via text, QR code, or by adding their email address and having the site send them an email inviting them to take the course. So far, so great! Not much to say by way of critical feedback. Maybe continue adding more quiz question types? Keep building out the capabilities of the A.I. course creation feature? I use 7taps Microlearning for quick learning on the go, and it's great for hospital-wide initiatives. It replaces old school learning styles like read and sign or traditional PowerPoint presentations. 7taps makes it easy for nurses to retain information in a way that's fun and interactive. The platform is easy to create with and engaging. I also really value the QR Code capability, and despite our IT system being terrible, it's very easy to use and start utilizing on the floor. I think I like the phone usability a lot. It's much more accessible for people who are not sitting behind a computer and need access via their phones.
