Many sites these days don't require complicated features and in general, for a great looking, modern web site with easy navigation, this feature has everything you need. Support is very good at 101. They have helped us resolved issues quickly and easily on many occassions. 101's blog has many guides for set-up and integration, which used to be especially helpful for assisting Clients to set-up emails and access web mail. **What do you dislike about 101domain?** 101's site builder is lacking a language tool and they seem to opt to ignore this, which could leave them (and those who build sites using their templates, lagging behind). Aside from the odd missing feature, we were able to do everything 'under one roof' until recently, when 101 stopped offering email hosting! They simply told all Clients to go else where ot use Google, meaning we all had to make alternative arrangements. For us, it's no use using 101 to register a Client's domain, build their site then have to find an alternative provider for emails, so sadly we have to phase 101 out, which is a shame as it has been great for our regular use for many years. **What problems is 101domain solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned previously, 101 used to be our only 'go-to' for domain registration, site construction, hosting, email etc. However, we will now no longer be able to register new domains for our Clients due to the lack of email hosting. It's impossible to talk to people who are doing the work, and they don't update you at all on their progress, so you can be left in limbo for days. The backend control panel has a lot of features and granular controls. **What do you dislike about 101domain?** 1) Their lower-tier shared hosting is underpowered and if you use a page builder (like DIVI or Envato) then you will quickly be throttled and your site will experience constant 500 errors, even if you have very few actual site visitors. We have about 5K visitors a month, yet the site was constantly going down with 500 errors. When we complained about this, their only option was for us to "upgrade" from shared hosting to dedicated servier, which brought our monthly bill from $15 to $200. During the migration to the new, more expensive server, they told us that they had changed all the DNS settings but actually they hadn't, so the old server was still live, and not the new server. We didn't know this until the old server plan expired and our site was down for 30 hours. On top of that, all the changes we made to the site in the two weeks between their migration and the server going down were lost, because the changes were made to the old server and not the new server. 2) As you can see above, their customer service engineers are sloppy. They are also uncommunicative. They didn't inform us when the server migration would begin, so I had to constantly ask them. When they finally did begin it they said it would take 24-48 hours, but they provided no updates. I had to constantly ask for updates. They finally told us it was done, including DNS changes, but that was not true and caused data loss. Although they have a "live chat" for support, the hours are limited and you can never speak to the people actually doing the work. You can only talk to front-line support staff, who often don't have the information or expertise to do anything. 3) Their "dedicated server" option starts at $200/month, and they don't even give you SSH access.
