# Which sales training platforms work best for a SaaS company with a remote or globally distributed sales team that needs consistent onboarding across time zones?

The constraint of async onboarding across time zones makes certain platform choices more consequential than they would be for a co-located team. Looking for what's actually working in practice.

Mindtickle: Structured learning paths with global readiness dashboards let managers track completion and readiness scores across dispersed reps from a single view, which is a critical management layer when you can't walk the floor. The mobile app enables reps to complete bite-sized modules between calls or during commutes, and the async-first design means onboarding quality doesn't vary based on which manager or time zone a new hire sits in.

SalesHood: Asynchronous video recording, guided learning paths, and centralized content libraries deliver consistent onboarding regardless of where a new hire joins. Every rep follows the same structured path and completes the same pitch practice submissions on their own schedule.

SmartWinnr: It is accessible on any device, connected to existing systems, and available anywhere. The gamification layer drives rep engagement with training content without requiring synchronous manager presence, which matters when managers are across time zones.

Allego: Its mobile-first, content-on-demand design is credited for distributed teams. Reps access training on any device at their own schedule, with replays uploaded quickly enough for async catch-up. The combination of training, content management, coaching, and Conversation Intelligence in one platform reduces the tool-switching friction that inflates when teams are geographically dispersed.

Trainual: Mandatory sequencing ensures every new hire completes the same foundational content in the same order, regardless of when or where they onboard. The consistency guarantee for distributed teams comes from the platform's structure, not from manager oversight. The mobile app enables reps to complete training on their schedule, and the documentation format makes it easy for reps to reference materials asynchronously without needing to ask a colleague.

Is it completion rates varying by region, coaching quality varying by manager, or reps in some geographies simply getting less context because live sessions don't work across 12-hour differences?

Mindtickle makes sense here, especially for keeping things consistent across teams. I’m a bit curious though how much of that still depends on managers staying involved. Async works really well for content, but feedback is usually where things get uneven.

A quick question: where have you seen async onboarding hold up better, early ramp or later-stage coaching?
