A lot of it probably comes down to data quality and process, but I’m still curious if there are platforms that genuinely do a better job here.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A few I’ve come across:</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/clari/reviews"><strong>Clari</strong></a>: seems to be the one people mention most for forecasting</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/anaplan/reviews"><strong>Anaplan</strong></a>: looks powerful, especially for more detailed planning</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/xactly/reviews"><strong>Xactly</strong></a>: seems useful if forecasting is tied closely to quotas and comp</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/pigment-2024-01-19/reviews"><strong>Pigment</strong></a>: looks flexible, but not sure how strong it is on forecasting specifically</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/varicent-varicent/reviews"><strong>Varicent</strong></a>: sounds like it can handle more complexity, but I don’t know how accurate it feels in practice</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Do any of these actually improve forecast accuracy in a meaningful way, or if it mostly depend on having clean CRM data and a solid sales process. Forecasting accuracy usually has less to do with flashy dashboards and more to do with how well the software handles real sales variability.
