&lt;p&gt;In the cases I&#39;ve come across, console consolidation seems to matter more for surfacing the pattern than for catching the first attempt itself, since one bad badge swipe rarely looks like anything on its own no matter how good the dashboard is. Where a unified view actually pays off is when someone tries a few doors across a site and that only reads as a real attempt once it&#39;s all sitting in one place instead of scattered across separate systems. So the value shows up a step later than &quot;catching it before it happens&quot; implies, more like catching it before it escalates into something bigger.&lt;/p&gt;
