My sense is task visibility ends up mattering most once things get complicated, since attendee management tools mostly do what they're built for consistently, but it's the internal coordination side that breaks down under pressure, someone assumes another person handled a detail and nobody catches it until event day. That's probably why ClickUp and Wrike come up here even though they're not event-specific, clear ownership on tasks tends to prevent the kind of dropped detail that actually damages trust, more than any attendee-facing feature does.
