# Which dmp is most cost effective for a small startup, need simple interface and easy onboarding

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’m trying to find a cost-effective <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/data-management-platform-dmp">DMP</a> for a small startup that doesn’t need anything overly complex. I care less about enterprise bells and whistles and more about easy onboarding, a clean interface, and something the team can actually start using fast.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A few I’ve been looking at:</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/twilio-segment/reviews"><strong>Twilio Segment</strong></a>: seems like a common starting point if the goal is simple customer data collection and lots of integrations. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/klaviyo/reviews"><strong>Klaviyo</strong></a>: seems worth considering if the startup is ecommerce-focused and wants customer data tied closely to marketing right away. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/hightouch/reviews"><strong>Hightouch</strong></a>: looks interesting if the priority is activating customer data without taking on a huge implementation project. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/mparticle-by-rokt/reviews"><strong>mParticle</strong></a>: seems solid, though I’m not sure it’s the easiest fit for a very small team just getting started. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For a small startup, which of these was the easiest to get live quickly without spending a ton or needing a bunch of technical setup?</p>

For a startup, “cost effective” usually means the team can get value quickly without needing a long setup cycle or someone technical owning the platform full time.
