# What’s the best software for monitoring hybrid cloud environments?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi G2 community, I am looking into the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-monitoring"> best software for monitoring hybrid cloud environments</a> and want some real-world input from teams running hybrid at enterprise scale. Especially, to optimize for faster incident response, tighter governance, cost control, and simply one place to see what’s happening without hopping across five consoles.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I am trying to understand what holds up in real hybrid environments.  </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Here are a few I’ve been considering: </p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/dynatrace/reviews">Dynatrace:</a> Known for automated discovery and AI-assisted root cause analysis, which sounds appealing when you’re trying to reduce time spent correlating signals across layers. For hybrid, does the automation actually reduce manual effort, or do you still need significant tuning to make it reliable across on-prem and cloud?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/logicmonitor/reviews">LogicMonitor:</a> Often mentioned as a strong option for hybrid infrastructure monitoring, especially when you want broad coverage across networks, servers, and cloud resources from a central place. In practice, how well does it handle modern hybrid patterns without feeling like it’s primarily “traditional infrastructure first”?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/datadog/reviews">Datadog:</a> Strong full-stack coverage and lots of integrations, which seems helpful when you’re stitching together on-prem systems with multiple cloud services. In a true hybrid environment, does it stay coherent as teams and accounts multiply, or does it turn into “a thousand dashboards” unless you invest heavily in governance?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">So, based on your experience, what’s the best software for monitoring hybrid cloud environments?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>
