# What’s the best dmp software for a mid size ecommerce business that needs strong customer data unification?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’m trying to find the right <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/data-management-platform-dmp">DMP-style platform</a> for a mid-size ecommerce business that really needs better customer data unification, not just more dashboards.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A few I’ve been looking at:</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/twilio-segment/reviews"><strong>Twilio Segment</strong></a>: seems like a strong option if the main goal is pulling customer data together from different tools and channels into one place. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/bloomreach-bloomreach/reviews"><strong>Bloomreach</strong></a>: looks especially interesting for ecommerce teams that care about unifying customer and product data for personalization. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/klaviyo/reviews"><strong>Klaviyo</strong></a>: seems worth considering if e-commerce marketing is a big part of the use case and you want customer data tied closely to campaigns. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/mparticle-by-rokt/reviews"><strong>mParticle</strong></a>: comes up a lot for customer profiles, segmentation, and data unification across channels. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/hightouch/reviews"><strong>Hightouch</strong></a>: looks appealing if the goal is syncing unified data back into marketing and sales tools in a more warehouse-first setup. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’m mainly trying to figure out which one actually does the best job of creating a clean, unified customer view for e-commerce, without turning into a huge implementation project.</p>

For this kind of e-commerce use case, I’d care most about whether the platform actually connects customer behavior across channels in a way marketing can use.
