# What do frontline sales reps actually want from a sales training platform versus what sales enablement managers tend to prioritize when selecting one?

The person selecting the tool optimizes for accountability and analytics, the person using the tool optimizes for speed and low friction, and the resulting adoption gap makes the investment worthless.

What reps optimize for: Mobile Support, Video Simulations, Gamification:

Feels like reps care about whether it helps them in the moment, managers care about whether it’s trackable. That gap shows up pretty quickly if the tool leans too much one way. If reps don’t find it useful day to day, it just becomes something they complete, not something they use.

I want to ask you: have you seen anything that reps actually go back to on their own without being asked?
