# What audio editing platforms work best for a marketing or advertising team producing branded audio content like ads, jingles and voice-over material at scale?

We're looking at the audio editing software category from a marketing and advertising angle, specifically for teams producing branded audio at volume. Ads, jingles, and voice-over material at scale have different requirements than podcast production or music creation. The things that matter most are turnaround speed, collaboration across producers and stakeholders, template or asset reuse, and tight integration with video tools.

Here's what we're hoping to find:

Fast voice-over production with minimal re-recording cycles

Collaboration features that let non-audio people review and approve

Consistent output quality across team members and projects

Workflow that doesn't require a full-time audio engineer to operate

Based on what comes up in reviews filtered to this type of use case:

HeyGen: Gets consistent mentions for AI-generated voice-over at scale. Marketing teams producing large volumes of explainer or ad content use it to reduce dependency on voice talent for routine content. Does HeyGen's voice quality hold up for branded content where tone consistency across a campaign matters?

Murf.ai: Another AI voice generation tool with a strong library of voice styles and tone options. Frequently cited by marketing teams for corporate narration and ad scripts, particularly where budget or timeline limits access to voice actors.

Descript: Handles the full voice-over production and editing workflow in one platform, with collaboration features that let stakeholders review and comment without needing audio software.

Adobe Audition: The tool of choice for teams already in the Adobe ecosystem, where Audition integrates directly with Premiere Pro for video ad production. Reviewers in agency and media production contexts cite this integration as the main reason they stay on it.

For teams producing branded audio at volume, what's the biggest operational bottleneck you've run into with the tooling?

Honestly I'd temper expectations here, G2's audio-editing category skews heavily desktop, so there isn't a deep bench of true Android editors reviewed. WavePad is the cross-platform one that runs on Android and covers basic recording and editing, but its review base is small so I wouldn't over-trust the rating. To be real, for serious editing most people record on the phone and finish on a desktop tool. If it genuinely has to be Android-native, I'd trial WavePad but keep expectations modest. What editing do you need to do on the phone specifically, just trims or full multitrack?
