# What are the best AI writing assistants with top reviews for corporate emails?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi G2 community, I started looking into what are the best <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/ai-writing-assistant"><strong>AI writing assistants</strong></a> with top reviews for corporate emails, to see what people are actually using in real work settings, not just for marketing or content writing.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’ve been running into this a lot lately where writing corporate emails is taking longer than it probably should. Not because the content is hard, but getting the tone right across different situations is time-consuming.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Going through options in the AI writing assistant software category, a few tools kept popping up:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/grammarly/reviews"><strong>Grammarly</strong></a>: Feels like the easiest to use for email since it just works in the background. More useful for adjusting tone and clarity once you’ve already written something.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/notion/reviews"><strong>Notion AI</strong></a>: More relevant for drafting internal updates or async communication where emails often originate from notes or shared docs.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/microsoft-microsoft-copilot/reviews"><strong>Microsoft Copilot</strong></a>: Sits inside Outlook and can draft or rewrite emails based on context. Feels more like you’re asking it to help mid-work rather than using a separate tool.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/google-gemini/reviews"><strong>Gemini</strong></a>: Built into Gmail with things like “help me write” and summaries, so you can generate or clean up emails without switching tabs.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/writesonic/reviews"><strong>Writesonic</strong></a>: More useful when you need a quick first draft. Feels like a good starting point when you don’t want to begin from scratch.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">What I’m trying to figure out is whether these tools actually reduce the effort, or just shift it. Like, are people sending what these tools generate, or still tweaking everything anyway?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">If you’ve been using AI for emails, has it actually made things easier? Or do you still end up editing most of what it generates before hitting send?</p>

&lt;p&gt;Also curious if anyone’s found a way to cut down on the constant tone rewrites when using AI for emails.&lt;/p&gt;
