One major learning for us was that inbox placement is heavily influenced by engagement signals. If people aren’t interacting with your emails, placement drops over time regardless of the tool.

Instantly worked pretty well for us, especially for warm-up and scaling. But it’s definitely not a shortcut, if your targeting or sending patterns are off, you’ll still run into deliverability issues.

For us, list hygiene made the biggest difference. Once we cleaned inactive contacts and focused on engaged users, inbox placement improved more than anything we did with tools.

Based on my usage, Constant Contact and Brevo turned out to be solid for opt-in campaigns because they enforce better sending practices. They don’t push you toward aggressive sending, which actually helps long-term deliverability.
