I’m trying to narrow down the best SEO tool for a mid-size business, especially at that stage where you need more depth than basic rank tracking, but don’t necessarily want an overly bloated enterprise platform.
A few tools I’ve been comparing:
Semrush: seems like a strong all-around choice for keyword research, site audits, competitor tracking, and content planning.
Ahrefs: looks especially useful for backlink analysis, organic growth opportunities, and understanding where competitors are winning.
SE Ranking: seems like a solid option if you want a broad SEO feature set without jumping straight to the highest price tier.
Moz Pro: feels a bit more straightforward and manageable for teams that want core SEO tools without too much complexity.
Similarweb: interesting if market and competitor visibility matter as much as traditional SEO tracking.
