The Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) is a nonprofit arts organization that seeks to strengthen the financial, organizational, and policy infrastructure of the arts in the western United States. Founded in 1974, WESTAF provides innovative programs and services to artists, arts organizations, and various governmental entities to enhance accessibility to the arts and promote cultural understanding. The organization supports arts research and advocacy initiatives and offers technology solutions such as ZAPP® and CallforEntry.org™ to streamline processes for artists and event organizers. WESTAF operates in collaboration with a variety of regional and national partners to support the creative economy.
