ThreatSpike was co-founded by Adam and Kate Blake, a husband-and-wife team who approached the same problem from two different directions and arrived at the same conclusion. Adam spent years leading cybersecurity consulting at Accenture and Deloitte, advising some of the world's largest organisations on security strategy. He kept recommending a unified approach that treated IT and security as one problem, owned by one team. He couldn't find a company that delivered it, so he built one. Kate built advanced algorithms at Morgan Stanley before designing the ThreatSpike security platform from the ground up. Every component is proprietary, built in-house, with no third-party dependencies and no gaps between layers. ThreatSpike Labs was founded in London in 2011, starting with the security platform. As the depth of what was broken in the broader IT industry became clear, the scope expanded to fully managed IT, agentic AI operations and the fixed-price commercial model that underpins all of it. What we are today is the direct result of refusing to accept the model as it was. ThreatSpike is backed by Expedition Growth Capital, supporting the global expansion of the platform and the acceleration of the model we're replacing.
