# Best way to detect when contact has been successfully added or removed from a list.
I'm writing a custom WordPress plugin to trigger emails when new events from The Events Calendar are published. I'd also like it to be able to add and remove contacts from the list. The problem is that it takes a long time for a new user to show up on the list or for one to be removed--like two or three minutes. Can anyone recommend a way to do this so that the users of the plugin can see when the contact has been added or removed?
Another question while I'm here: Is there a way get a list of my dynamic templates through the API? This endpoint: https://docs.sendgrid.com/api-reference/transactional-templates/retrieve-paged-transactional-templates doesn't return anything meaningful to me.
