Owl Ops

OwlOps is a task and maintenance management app that helps you improve communication, enhance accountability, and eliminate the paper shuffle in your restaurant operation. In 2009, brothers Doug and Brad Rixmann had -that- phone call. Brad, having recently taken over the family's Tim Hortons franchise, was frustrated. He had a great team of managers and maintenance tech, but he and his team felt that they were dropping the ball on all the little things—spending too much time in emergency mode and not enough getting things done. They looked for a solution to help keep track and manage it all, but nothing was suited for the industry or were really overpriced. So, Doug, with over 30 years of experience in the restaurant operations and point-of-sale development, created OwlOps—Brad was the first "customer." After realizing how helpful it could be to other owners and operators, they brought OwlOps to market in 2014 and are now serving 5000+ restaurants. Doug and the team at OwlOps thrive on building strong relationships with their customers and making restaurant operation a more successful and rewarding experience.

Roast Console

RoastConsole is coffee roastery management software that runs a roastery on one record, from green lot acquisition to paid invoice. Most roasteries end up with a roast logger, a spreadsheet for green inventory, an accounting package and a separate order list — and the same batch gets typed into all four. RoastConsole removes that duplication by keeping one record every stage writes to. A roast updates green stock, roasted inventory, cost per pound and the orders waiting on that coffee, with nobody re-entering it. There are three interfaces. Cloud is the web application: green coffee inventory with coverage days and reorder alerts, production planning and queues built from open orders and stock, cupping and quality control scored against the batch, wholesale and CRM, and invoicing and fulfillment. Pilot is a free Mac app that sits beside the roaster and captures the roast live — the curve, rate of rise, phases and milestones. It connects over Modbus TCP, Siemens S7, USB, Bluetooth and serial to machines including Kaleido, Aillio, IKAWA, Hottop, ROEST, Loring, Probat, Giesen, Diedrich and Mill City, and reads any machine at all through a Phidget thermocouple. Pilot is complete on its own and does not require a Cloud subscription. Mobile is a free iOS app for production tasks and sales orders away from a desk. Green coffee lots show coverage days from actual consumption. Production queues build automatically from orders and stock levels. Wholesale orders track fulfillment stages tied to the specific batches that filled them, so traceability runs bean to invoice rather than being reconstructed afterwards. Multi-site operations keep live records across locations. RoastConsole connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero for invoicing and payment reconciliation, Shopify for online orders, Square for point of sale, and Stripe for payments. There is an open REST API with scoped keys, signed webhooks, and an MCP server for AI tools, read-only by default. A full export of your tenant in open formats is available at any time. Pricing is one plan rather than tiers: every feature, unlimited team members, roasters and sites, with a monthly base and usage metered on roasted weight. Fourteen-day free trial, no credit card.
