Classy is class booking software for studios and gyms that run on a timetable: yoga, Pilates, barre, CrossFit, HIIT, spin, martial arts, dance, swimming and kids' classes, as well as art and cooking workshops. Members book, cancel and join waitlists on their phone, any time of day. A class can never be overbooked, and when a spot opens up, Classy offers it to the next person on the waitlist. Studios set their own booking window and cancellation cutoff, and Classy applies them the same way for everyone. Studios sell class packs and monthly memberships. Members can pay by card in Rand through Paystack, with the studio's share going straight into its bank account, or pay in person or by EFT and have the studio approve the pack with one tap. Classy counts every class, returns credits for cancellations made before the cutoff, and handles pack expiry and monthly card renewals, including retrying failed payments. Owners and admins get a monthly Reports screen that splits online card sales from in-person sales (cash, card, EFT, QR code or free) and breaks sales down by pack. A PDF and CSV statement is emailed each month for the bookkeeper. Owners, admins and instructors each get role-based access, and instructors can take attendance and add walk-ins from the class screen. Each studio's app carries its own name, logo and colours, and comes with a public timetable page and a shareable sign-up link. Members sign in with a 6-digit email code or with Apple or Google, so there's no password to forget. Classy runs in any browser and on iOS and Android, and every studio is set up by a South African team.
