Question on: Showpad
How do I input a hyperlink into a deck?
If I have a PDF with a hyperlink imbedded in it, will it allow the customer to click on it? If not, how can I?

Hi Sheri,
PDF documents uploaded to Showpad are processed before they are added to the Content Library. We do this automatically to prevent slow loading documents on devices, and users can have a great Showpad experience. There won’t be any issues processing hyperlinks that are part of the document and allowing customers to click them.

Question on: Showpad
What is the best way to write mails to new customers, which are not listed in Salesforce?
In our company Showpad is connected to Salesforce. So when I send mails via showpad to customers, which are not listed in Salesforce, I haven´t the opportunity to see I had contact with these companies in the past, when I list a customer years later.

Hello Dirk,
If a customer doesn’t exist in Salesforce, you can see the previous sharing history in the Showpad reporting. If that customer later gets added to Salesforce, it’s from that point on that the objects will be logged against Salesforce without historic data.
The question is also why these customers are not listed in Salesforce. A suggestion is to have every company you’re in touch with in Salesforce. We log interactions with opportunities as well, not only with existing customers and contacts.

Question on: Showpad
Can customers upload content to shared spaces? If I transfer space ownership, can I still make changes?
Hi Maya,
External participants invited to the Shared Space can edit their profile, view all content, comment on files, and invite other people. Uploading their own content is not possible.
Regarding your 2nd question, by default, all internal participants to a Shared Space have the same permissions as the owner of the Shared Space. When you transfer the Shared Space, you can choose to remain an active participant, or to leave the Space entirely. Depending on this choice you will still be able to make changes or lose access to the Space altogether.
If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center where we have a full section - https://help.showpad.com/hc/en-us/sections/360002829913 - on how to work with Shared Spaces, or get in touch with your Showpad admin.
