I really like the AI Debugger and the Correlation Reports in Trackingplan. They're incredibly helpful for creating textual hypotheses and identifying possible root causes for data quality issues. Moreover, the AI Debugger can even suggest the next steps / solutions to further debug the problem.
The ability to select the right data types and manage the conditional presence for properties, like dataLayer event parameters or GA4 event parameters, is valuable to me. I also find the feature that provides visibility on third-party pixels very useful, especially when adding a new pixel from GTM. The consent monitoring feature is great, as it can auto-detect the Cookie Management Platform vendor, identify cookies, and pinpoint pixels, which is crucial.
Trackingplan support is awesome, and event setting it up on the website was super easy, especially using GTM with the clear instructions they provide.
We use Trackingplan's native connector to Looker Studio for creating the client-facing dashboard. The dashboard is then shared with the client's team for them to also be able monitor their data collection quality.
You can configure the Slack email in Trackingplan "daily warning recipients'" field and receive the daily monitoring results directly in Slack.
Lastly, the frequent rollout of new Web SDK versions is awesome.
I really like the Trackingplan team because they are very approachable and provide immediate support for any questions or issues. Additionally, I use the Destinations feature a lot, which helps me see everything I have active on my website and notifies me of any changes.
It helps me detect problems in data quality and ensure data quality without having to manually review each flow or process. I love being able to access all the raw data from digital marketing tools to detect anomalies and understand much better how the tools process data. Raw data is key because it allows you to go beyond what you see in the tools' interfaces and detect the origin of implementation, duplication, and format problems, and it allows you to audit the tools themselves and also covers the entire spectrum (web, apps, and server side). The support team always tries to help and makes a difference by understanding the real use cases of analytics very well, providing context and listening to feedback to improve the product.
