FME Platform is a great support for our ETL, data sync and delivering data internally and externally. I love how it offers a wide range of generic building blocks to solve nearly any data processing task you may have.

The first thing I would like to mention is that, in the high-pressure environment of airline scheduling, I don't have time to write code. FME form's drag-and-drop interface allows me to build complex data workflows, connecting flight times with gate availability, overall the process is quick and visual. Secondly, the compatibility of formats, five hundred plus formats are supported, so me and my team can pull data from any source without worrying about compatibility. Thirdly, we automate the syncronization of flight schedules using FME Flow. It updates out internal board and if it fails, it emails me immediatelt so we can control operations. And lastly, I personally like the AttributeManager tool for scheeming data from various partners, that would fit into our central scheduling database schema.

FME helps me manage database and CSV files and it also offers workflow tools that integrate well with the FMI API. Its transformation tools and dependable mapping make it easier for me to automate workflows integrate and connect ETL taks across different systems. These feature they are why FME is my prefered choice I can track the process more clearly, keep backend work running smoothly, save time and helps teams stay more consistent.
