What I like best is that Orchestra stays focused on orchestration and observability without trying to take over my whole stack. We run dbt on BigQuery with dlt and Cloud Run, and Orchestra gives me a single control plane to schedule, monitor, and debug all of it. The visibility into failures is the biggest win. When something breaks, I can immediately see where it happened and why, so we no longer have customers spotting data freshness issues before we do. Debugging that used to eat hours now takes minutes. It's also refreshingly simple to adopt. I rebuilt our entire orchestration in about a week. The serverless environment for running dlt and dbt core, plus the large connector library, means I'm scaling the business instead of writing boilerplate orchestration code. I now run business-critical pipelines monthly without babysitting them.

I really like how Orchestra serves as a central orchestration tool for AWS, Rivery, DBT, and Snowflake. What stands out to me is its ease of use and the ability to quickly set up data pipelines. The initial setup was very easy, making it a smooth experience.

The native integrations are what sell it for me. I can run Coalesce/DBT, Fivetran, and Azure Data Factory from one place instead of writing a bunch of glue code to make them talk to each other and the ADF task being native saved me real time. I moved a 158-node pipeline into production without drama, and it’s held up as I’ve scaled toward a much bigger 540+ node one. It’s quick to get going, and the lineage view has saved me more than once when I needed to figure out where something broke upstream.
