I like how OpenHands can understand a codebase, handle repetitive development tasks, and save time while still giving me control over the changes.

What I like most about OpenHands is that it can take a coding task from a simple description and work through the implementation for me. It saves time on repetitive coding and is useful for getting a project started or figuring out how to approach a problem.

The biggest advantage for me is that it goes beyond simple code suggestions and can actually work through development tasks in a structured way. I can assign it a task, share the relevant project context, and let it inspect files, understand the current implementation, and move toward a solution without me having to manually explain every part of the codebase. I also find the agent-style workflow especially helpful for repetitive development work, like implementing features, modifying existing code, troubleshooting errors, and making coordinated changes across multiple files. Because the agent works directly with the project context, the interaction feels much closer to collaborating with an additional developer than relying on a traditional code completion tool. Being able to review what changed afterward is just as important. I can inspect the modifications, test the result, and follow up with additional requests when something needs adjustment. Overall, it helps accelerate development while still letting me stay in control of the final implementation.
