The combination of true multi-step autonomy with the Agent Canvas control plane. I can hand an agent a complete engineering request triage an issue, inspect the relevant repositories, propose a scoped change, run tests in a sandbox, and open a draft PR and watch the full sequence unfold without constant prompting. Being able to switch backends (local Docker, cloud, or our own infrastructure) without losing conversation context has been especially valuable when we need to keep sensitive code air-gapped.

The ability to hand an agent a clearly scoped internal task and have it work through the repository, run commands, and produce a usable pull request with minimal hand-holding. For our size of firm this is practical rather than flashy. I especially appreciate that we can run it against our own models or bring our own keys and keep sensitive client-related code inside our controlled environment
