My gedit experience

|gedit
It's the default editor on my linux (ubuntu) workstation, it's very lightweight and easy to use software for editing files having code, other texts.

Best text editor available in Linux

|gedit
GEdit is the alternative to notepad in Ubuntu. It provides all the basic functionalities which a text editor provides. One more advantage is that it is open source.

This is a great text editor for Linux

|gedit
It is simple and light to work. It is a perfect replacement for Notepad of Windows in Ubuntu. I use it to clean texts copied from the browser. It removes formatting and provides the plain that I require. The best thing about this is that it is simple, lightweight, and fast. It shows multiple files in tabs, making it even more impressive.
