I like that Essential Personnel gives us one location to see just about everything related to an employee, from education and certifications to taskbooks, 360 reviews, evaluations, records, and awards. The master brief sheet is invaluable because it gives me a quick and easy full historical view of an employee’s performance. I did not realize how much we needed Essential Personnel until we had it, and it has become a top-tier tool for our agency. Their customer support is the best I have experienced in 23 years of public safety technology—they are responsive, open to input and customer ideas, and involved in creating a tool that works for us specifically. The user interface looks good but performs even better. I have never gotten frustrated navigating it; it is intuitive, the logic makes sense, and our people like its ease of use. People use it daily for 360 reviews and leader notes even though they are not required. Setup was very easy and personalized, with a team member assigned to help us.
