Upside has been huge in helping me consistently do win/loss analysis across key segments, track changes over time, research our ideal customer profile, and see how it changes or stays the same. I also use it for competitive research, including seeing which competitors come up in deals and mining calls and emails for insights beyond Salesforce closed/lost reasons. By bringing together information from emails and calls along with our CRM, it has surfaced things I wouldn’t have seen otherwise, like which content assets are helpful, quotes about how we’re different from competitors, and customer pain points and objections. I especially like the agent in the app. I can start with a question or statement and work through it with the agent, which helps me make sense of my hypotheses and can turn a question into a full-fledged ICP research mini-app. I wasn’t fully involved in the data setup, but Upside has been extremely easy to use and find value from.
