We’ve been using Decodo’s residential proxies for about six months to monitor product prices on e-commerce websites. These sites can be very aggressive about blocking automated traffic, and price monitoring requires revisiting the same product pages repeatedly. Because of that, what matters most to us is simply whether our requests get through. That’s where Decodo has performed best for our needs: our success rate has remained consistently high, and we rarely have to deal with gaps in our price data. The residential IPs also blend in like real shoppers, which is exactly what this kind of work depends on. Overall, the service has been stable enough over these six months that we now treat it as a dependable part of our data pipeline, rather than something we need to monitor every day.
