What I like most about Dadan is that it packs a surprising amount into one platform without making routine screen recording feel like I’m producing a Netflix documentary.
The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and recording my screen, webcam, or both is quick and reliable. Once I’m finished, the video is immediately available to trim, edit, organize, and share. The newer editor and redesigned dashboard are meaningful improvements, not merely a fresh coat of paint. Performance has also been dependable, which matters because a screen recorder that struggles to record the screen has one job and has somehow failed it.
The AI features are genuinely useful. Automatic transcripts, captions, summaries, chapters, meeting notes, and metadata save time and make longer recordings easier to navigate and repurpose. I especially like that the AI supports the workflow rather than being awkwardly stapled onto the product because every SaaS company apparently received the same memo.
Dadan also goes beyond basic recording with analytics, viewer engagement tools, calls to action, quizzes, polls, video requests, team collaboration, and integrations for broader workflows. That makes it useful for client walkthroughs, tutorials, feedback, internal documentation, and meetings, rather than being another tool that only generates a video link.
Support has been responsive, development has moved quickly, and the team appears to listen to its users. Combined with the pricing and the number of tools it can potentially replace, the overall value is excellent.

I love how Dadan saves a lot of time by allowing me to show bugs directly through recordings. The speed is fantastic because I can share videos quickly. Also, being able to select specific areas of my screen makes it very easy to share exactly what I want. The installment was very easy, making it simple to get started.

What I like best about Dadan is that it combines screen recording, meeting recording, and AI note taking in one platform, so I don't have to juggle multiple tools. The ability to annotate videos and leave comments at specific timestamps is another huge plus, especially for demos, feedback, and collaborating with a remote team without needing another meeting.
