We test positioning concepts with the market and part of that is testing with the ideal target audience (prospects) for our clients in either online focus groups or 1:1 interviews. Regardless of how technical the study is, the title levels or company sizes and industries we're looking for, Zintro is always transparent about the feasibility, timing and costs and will provide guidance if changes are needed to best fulfill our needs. While it's sometimes disappointing, I appreciate that they know their boundaries and don't want to waste our time. **Recommendations to others considering Zintro:** Zintro is great to work with, and they're so clearly passionate and enthusiastic about what they do. While they can sometimes struggle with more niche B2B audiences, they're always transparent about what is or isn't feasible for them, and they approach every interaction with the utmost respect. When we can't find certain participants, they help us and vice versa. They help us particularly in one niche segment. **What do you like best about Zintro?** Their wide reach and ability to dig in. They are strong globally and can go deep into the weeds to find exact fits instead of just scratching the surface. They almost always give optionality when it comes to picking the best fit while some other companies strongarm us into picking anyone that broadly fits our criteria. **What do you dislike about Zintro?** They're expensive for us since but we're able to mark Zintro's work up and keep our customers happy at the same time. I'd rather fill a project and have a happy customer come back than have a perfect margin on every transaction. It pays off in the long run. They also work with a lot of the same people in our panel already, so they have to custom recruit new people. **What problems is Zintro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We don't have the human resources Zintro has or the brand name. We also do a lot more panel work so our participants can get "stale" for some of our top customers. By using Zintro, they're getting fresh people with great insights. I also appreciate their expertise in recruiting. I decided to give them a try on a research project. They completed a large healthcare project with us this month. They helped us get 150 participants ranging from patients with a rare disease to doctors that treat the disease to purchasing decision makers at hospitals. These were 60 minute IDI's. They were able to fill our project in 11 days. **What do you like best about Zintro?** I liked how myself and three associates didn't have to do much. Our zintro project mnagers organized each participant list and showed participant qualifications for us to review. We picked the ones we liked and they took care of scheduling and paying them. All but 2 of the 150 participants were really good, and for the two that weren't, we cut the call off before 10 minutes and Zintro found us two replacements that day. Strong management and organization from their two PM's. **What do you dislike about Zintro?** Nothing. This was truly an all around great experience and a strong first impression. We were prepared to use guidepoint as a backup but we didn't have to, luckily. **Recommendations to others considering Zintro:** Give them a try! I hadn't heard of them before this project but the experience was really good. **What problems is Zintro solving and how is that benefiting you?** They helped us feel confident that they could get all of the participants without us having to resort to other vendors. Every time we use multiple vendors, the overlapping experts provide a lot of noise that we have to deal with. I realized that sometimes answering a cold email can lead to a new great vendor! They're able to provide us with software decision makers for interviews as well as consumers using alternative products. We request to speak with a set number of people and zintro then shares profiles for us to review and book a time with. **What do you like best about Zintro?** The overall experience. They're fast, dilligent, and sharp. We usually are able to review profiles within 24 hrs. They also have a project model where we don't pay until we interview people and owe them nothing if they don't find us participants. This is more flexible than what similar services I've used like Coleman or GLG offer. **What do you dislike about Zintro?** They only recruit participants and dont do any other market research work. Some other services are able to give us insights and reports that summarize the results. They're a lot more expensive than panel providers we've used like respondent.io and pollfish. **Recommendations to others considering Zintro:** I would put them head to head with other expert nettworks on price, speed, ease of doing business with, etc. If you're using panels to source participants, I would use panels first and then go to zintro to fill what is left. **What problems is Zintro solving and how is that benefiting you?** we are solving the challenges of finding people to interview. We have done this internally and used dozens of tools/services to find participants. We usually try a combination of respondent.io, pollfish, cold messaging on linkedin, and traditional expert networks. What I like about zintro is that they don't rely on panels so we almost always have "fresh" participants. We ask for IT leader in the x space and Zintro sets up the interviews for us. They charge much less than other expert networks for projects too. Our team loves our two AM's (Gino + Zoe)! **What do you dislike about Zintro?** We can only use them for interviews and focus groups since they don't do quantitative projects. Their call packages are also less onerous for a boutique firm like ours and made sense for us. We'd give them criteria of what we were looking for (country, position, work for x companies) and they would go out and recruit or pull those people from their network. They would do everything from finding and screening candidates to even paying them for us. **What do you like best about Zintro?** Our team really liked their global presence and ability to get people from markets we had no idea how to approach (mostly in Eastern Africa). Pretty similar to other services but they are 50% of the cost of the dominant vendor we currently use for similar work. They would present us candidates and then schedule the interviews for us directly. It only took them 24 hours to find six people for us, which is faster than our other vendor as well. **What do you dislike about Zintro?** We tried to use them for other projects but they don't touch projects in the quantitative space. This means we need multiple vendors rather than have a one-stop-shop. **What problems is Zintro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We solved the problem of not understanding how to find the relevant people we wanted to speak with, specifically in foreign geo's. When clients would present potential investments in unfamiliar markets, Zintro ensured we had access to high-quality people who were ready to talk. Mostly advisors but also some contractors that architected our platform design. **What do you like best about Zintro?** I liked how they were able to get us high quality people that wouldn't be able to find on upwork/toptal. They even found us a svp of engineering from a top 3 global retail company who owns the rewards program in their current role. This person was a critical part of our company launch. It's also nice that they deal with all interviewing/scheduling/billing/paperwork. **What do you dislike about Zintro?** It cost more than freelance platforms we're used to but it easily paid for itself because zintro has been able to get such niche people. I wouldn't use them to find engineering talent, just for these special people. **What problems is Zintro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're saving money by not hiring FTE's and they're able to find people who have worked on similar products but at very different levels of scale. We used them for nearly every deal that made it to the diligence phase. We would give them project details and they'd return profiles for us to review a day or two later. They also handled all candidate screenings and scheduling. **What do you like best about Zintro?** I like their PBP (project based pricing) model the most. Some of the other expert networks forced us to buy and prepay 25-50 call credits. Zintro only charged us for completed calls and nothing for deals where they recruited but didn't find us candidates. Their costs are very reasonable! We also had two lovely project managers that took care of everything. **What do you dislike about Zintro?** I really don't have anything bad to say about them. The internal sourcing project failed pretty quickly and we went back to expert networks. We found zintro on Google and submitted a project that day. It went smoothly and we decided to make them our key vendor. At the end of the year, we compared our 2020 Zintro spend and what we paid over previous years using other networks.
