"It's great! Love the effortless Figma Integration"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

What I like best about Zeroheight is how effortlessly it connects the designs from Figma in our documentation. It makes it easy to create beautiful, clear, and living design system sites. You can go from a Figma file to well-structured documentation in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

The main challenge right now is the limited support for native app documentation. Our design system also covers iOS and Android, and it would be amazing to have deeper integrations or tailored features for native components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zeroheight, our user-friendly documentation tool for our design system"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

1. Zeroheight serves as a unified source of truth for design tokens, guidelines, and reusable components, ensuring consistency and accelerating onboarding for new team members.

2. Seamless Integrations: Integrates smoothly with tools like Figma, minimizing the need for manual updates.

3. User-Friendly Interface: Designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate for both designers and developers.

4. Professional Look and Feel: Produces clean, visually appealing documentation with minimal effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

1. Performance Issues with Large Libraries: When managing very large design systems, the platform can become slower.

2. Offline Access: No strong offline mode, which can be a limitation for some workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid and relevant solution for effectively documenting and disseminating a design system"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

We use Zeroheight as a documentation platform for our multi-brand design system. The tool meets our need for centralization well, with convenient Figma integration and easy accessibility for all stakeholders (design, dev, product, business). Simple to grasp and implement thanks to the good number of features available. The customer support is responsive and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

However, we notice certain limitations: Figma synchronization is not always perfectly reliable, resource loading performance could be optimized, and the collaborative aspect remains improvable. It is not really possible to work simultaneously with multiple people without being exposed to untimely refreshes that disrupt editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Single Source of Truth for Our Design System"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

Zeroheight makes it simple to keep our design system documentation clear, consistent, and engaging. The Figma integration and customization options mean we can scale easily while making the docs approachable for designers, developers, and leadership across the org. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

I’d love to see more robust analytics and lifecycle tracking built in, so we can better measure adoption and flag deprecated components directly in the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about zeroheight?

Zeroheight is an intuitive and dynamic tool that we use as our single source of truth for the documentation of my team's design system and brand guidelines. It has the flexibility to customize styling and layouts that best fit our branding and organization preferences. The integration of Figma and design tokens are the most integral features we use, allowing us to connect and update directly from our system and helping with efficiency and alignment. The addition of AI has also been extremely useful when composing short or long-form documentation. Our Zeroheight counterpart, Daphne, has served as a great resource to spotlight and educate us on new features and ideas to better optimize our use. Customer support has always responded quickly to issues too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

Zeroheight has been fairly slow and buggy in regard to publishing new releases as well as uploading and updating new and existing Figma design assets. There has also been a bit of a learning curve for adaptation from new editors and users because the tool is quite robust and overwhelming at times. Because of that, we're still working on more adoption from external team members and hoping to phase out other sources of documentation. The dashboard and adoption analytics features have been very underutilized as a result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Go-To Tool for Design System Documentation"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

I appreciate zeroheight's ability to scale our design system across a cross-functional organization and make documentation significantly more accessible, especially to non-designers. The synced blocks and use of templates, along with its simple user interface and paired-back inline editors, greatly benefit my documentation process. The ease of use, familiarity with the tool, and excitement over the newly available features, like the analytics tool and adaptation capabilities, are highly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

I find that it takes a significant amount of time to load design files, especially when syncing with embedded Figma files. This is something I see as a necessary improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zeroheight has been a great fit for our team."
What do you like best about zeroheight?

We’re able to fully utilize the features we need right now, while leaving room to grow into others as our needs evolve. It delivers exactly what we’re looking for and stands out for its ease of use and straightforward implementation—especially when compared to similar products. The support from the Zeroheight team has been excellent; they’re clearly passionate about their product and genuinely invested in helping their users succeed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

The editor can feel a bit clunky at times, especially in the absence of a robust undo feature or a reliable publish/recovery system. These limitations can make editing workflows feel less confident and more error-prone than they should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Easy to use."
What do you like best about zeroheight?

Adding and editing content in Zeroheight is very easy to do. The new larger menu for adding different kinds of content to a page makes it simple and fast to get your work done. Also, the page templates are super helpful, especially for new users. We also appreciated the quarterly meetings with our Customer Success Manager. She and ZH support were always responsive to inquiries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

Having to publish an entire styleguide all at the same time was sometimes a problem. We had to set up organized releases every 2 weeks so that we did not accidentally publish work that was not ready to go out. It would be nice to be able to publish a page at a time, Yes, you can hide new pages until they are ready to be published but pages that are being edited cannot be hidden. We use 5 styleguides concurrently so having a coordinated release process was necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Design and Support, But Needs Better Sync and Navigation"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

The solution is intuitive

The design is clean

The support team is available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

File synchronization issues are frequent

The features are a bit limited:

- I would like to be able to have same linked content areas in different pages (if I modify the content on one page, it will affect the other linked content automatically)

- I would also like to be able to move pages more easily into subpages, or from one styleguide to another, without having to copy-paste and while keeping the existing links in the pages.

Finding information is not always easy (partly due to how we chose to structure the content, but also due to the navigation in Zeroheight: styleguides, search bars, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not as intuitive as it could be"
What do you like best about zeroheight?

I like our finished styleguide, and I like being able to see comment history and previous versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about zeroheight?

It's not very intuitive - I'd like to be able to change fonts / styles / indents / bullets more easily; the architecture is quite complex, so creating new pages / sub-pages and linking to them can be confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
