This tool allows our designers to elevate the design experience for our customers. The amount of content you can curate is astounding, all while hosting the production work on the cloud so it frees users up to continue working off of their computer. Highly recommend. **What do you dislike about Yulio?** There is still some work to be done when using CET native lighting. A few minor kinks to work out, but they are not detrimental. Love the feature of being able to tag products, music and videos in the VR. I find using vray to render the platform is faster than the plugin in sketchup for yulio. **What problems is Yulio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to share VR with clients versus having to go in person with virtual reality goggles. I only use the perspective rendering as it is the only value to me. I don't use the VR because it doesn't allow for walking through; just jumping from hot spot to hot spot which doesn't give the necessary realization for clients. Lighting control would be really beneficial, though, as well. **What problems is Yulio solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Yulio app allows me to rapidly prototype projects and renderings for clients to review during the SD phases. I use CET Designer and can set up my 360 views right within the program and then use the Yulio extension to select my simple lighting settings and send out to Yulio's website for renderings. Renderings within CET require knowledge and experimentation with lighting that takes a lot of time. Yulio Jump takes the guess work out of the lighting settings with only 2 lighting settings available. **What do you dislike about Yulio?** Some downsides of the program is that I find it's not compatible with my employer's VPN, and I have to disconnect from my VPN to use the CET extension. There was also a learning curve with using Yulio's website to set up the user experience by connecting the various 360 renderings to the plan and setting up navigation from each 360 rendering. I didn't find the platform intuitive, and while they have a few instructional guides, I felt that instruction is still lacking. I was able to get around this by trial and error and chatting into support. The last downside for me, is that 2D constraint boxes that you can set up within CET to only render a small section of your plan, do not get recognized by Yulio Jump. Anything you can see within your drawing will be rendered. The rendering settings are also different than CET, less crisp and more washed out in color. I find that Yulio focuses more on the architecture than the furniture, which is my primary use. **What problems is Yulio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Yulio cuts down on the rendering time for my computer and also provides a easily accessible way for my customers to view the 360 degree rendering experience I've created with a simple web link. Unlike other ways of sharing, no log in is required. You can easily move around from scene to scene, as well as pick several options to show your scene off in different styles. The use of tags to improve rendering is an excellent way to bring the scene to life. I recommend using these tags to give the outcome a much more realistic look. Also, if you are looking to share your project, It is just as easy. You will get a URL to share with anyone. They can view using a phone, computer and even a VR headset. I have shared my projects with others from around the world. The site has the flexibility to work with various rendering tools (Enscape, Vray), but offers its own renderer if needed. The VR app allows for easy collaborative review sessions in person or remotely, and it allows clients to review the 360 images later if needed. **What do you dislike about Yulio?** The oculus quest version is still in beta, but that will be critical now that oculus go and gear vr (3 degree of freedom headsets) are discontinued. Using Yulio with cheap cardboard or plastic phone-based headsets is an unpleasant experience. In that case, it’s better to review the 360 images on a screen. In the future, we will probably export 6dof view “spheres”, the most developed company in that area is Otoy with the Octane and Brigade engines. At that point, the single point 360 images will be obsolete, and I hope Yulio can find a way to incorporate lightfield spheres. **What problems is Yulio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Architectural design reviews with 360 images. For client review, internal review, and sometimes for public approvals review. 2D renderings can distort the scene and cause confusion, while 360 images allow the viewer to spot more errors and make better decisions faster. ### 31. With close contact being avoided around the world, Yulio is helping encourage collaboration no mater where you are located. Being able to direct other users to specific details as you talk about them while still allowing them freedom to explore is great! customer service is fantastic too! The ability to have an entire firm in a virtual meeting and everyone can explore on their own until, with one click, everyone is back together is game changing. **What do you dislike about Yulio?** I wish there was the ability to have multiple floor plans - both different levels and/or different schemes. 6 dof would be nice as well. Lastly, the render engine needs to be better to compete with Enscape and Lumion. We often use these competitive programs to render our VR images and then upload them into Yulio for the best quality. an additioanl issue is having the map background be black . most of the time it is not an issue, but if you have a marker (viewpoint) near the edge of your map (floorplan) then it will show the edge when selected (because it is centered in the preview circle). And anything past the edge of the paper is black... white would be ideal because most floor plans have a white background. **What problems is Yulio solving and how is that benefiting you?** virtual meeting are the most common. we use it locally or with clients across the world. with 6 dof we could use it for clash detection. ### 32.
