"Yodlee feed stopped working for months, no notice, crashed our accounting system"

What do you like best about Yodlee?

Yodlee worked for years. It synced our bank transactions with our accounting system, Xero. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodlee?

Well, a few months ago Yodlee started having errors, only syncing some transactions but not all - with no discernable pattern or consistency. Then, Yodlee completely stopped working. Our bank feeds have ben broken for several months. We had no notifications, no communication, no effort to try and fix it. We've had a case open with Yodlee for about 2 weeks with zero update or communication.

Our accounting system is now completely broken. We are manually entering every transaction from multiple accounts. What used to take a few moniutes to review now takes dozens of hours. We have no idea if a fix is even being worked on. Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yodlee?

They are better than ByAllAccounts, and that is LOW bar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodlee?

Their support is horrible, slow responses and they display a basic lack of knowledge of their product

All of their developers are overseas which makes setting up meetings a chore, to say the least.

I would estimate that they only have valid connections for 75% of the providers they claim to cover at any given time.

They don't seem to be capable of detecting when they are experiencing errors

Don't properly allocate and separate environments for staging/development

Webhooks don't come with authentication measures and they transmit the users identity openly leading to security concerns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yodlee solving and how is that benefiting you?

We need to be able to provide our users with a means to link different types of accounts and Yodlee offers the most robust offering of account types. If it ever works as they claim it does then it would be an amazing product however in the 4 years we have been a customer I have NEVER experienced a time where at least a part of their system wasn't broken. What do you like best about Yodlee?

Their pricing plan compared to other competitors is very good and has a lot of easy customizable features and a detailed documentation. Their Fastlink tool is very easy to configure and fast integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yodlee?

Excellent system to use and makes aggregating accounts very easy to integrate into financial wellness and budgeting financial technology. This is one of the most popular services to use for this kind of work and it is a quality system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yodlee?

The technology can be slow sometimes as it aggregates accounts and I have had trouble with linking outside accounts through password verification in some sporadic instances. It is not a consistent issue, but something to note nonetheless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would definitely recommend using Yodlee for outside account aggregation in order to successfully implement financial technology for customers and clients.
