The thing i like best about Yelp Advertising is that it is a well.known company that reaches local business and companies. They are big name and compare to many competitors. The price to advertise is still overly higher than others, I feel as though if the company looks into this it was improve Yelp Advertising. It shouldn't be a big adjustment. They are slick too because when you try to cancel the ads or pause the ads they have them separated into two different sections so if you stop one most are going to forget to stop another and they will still bill you even though the ads aren't running. A $400 campaign was run and I was charged $106 without my knowing. Not only that, the campaign resulted in 1 map view… 0 leads, 0 clicks to my site, and I was told I would not be refunded the $106 that was sneakily taken from me. They'll pressure you to sign up and promise you ad credit, but they still charge you and claim the ad credit was additional money they "paid" for your advertising. Complete and total fraud. Yelp works best as an organic review site." 0.5/5 What do you like best about Yelp Advertising? It was nice to create a custom profile and ads to reach homeowners. All the traffic we got was from our organic presence, not our paid efforts. We wanted to use it for leads of homeowners vetting businesses. Ideal for us b/c we have a quality product and good reputation. It did notyield any significant results or leads. Ran thru budget quickly and then you'd be asked to restock the budget. The intent of their traffic is to spend money. They are looking for a personal trainer, restaurant, accountant, preschool etc. They are in the final stages of choosing a place usually. They sometimes come at you with veiled threats about your reviews getting filtered if you don't play ball. Not to mention, they call you all hours of the day and night. The main benefit is that you get a lot more eyeballs on your business obviously (like any other form of advertising).
