Major issue that excel (Parent of XLminer) has is incapability to connect data directly from any cloud while in todays generation thats our actual storage. **Recommendations to others considering XLMiner:** Its an awesome tool for anyone who love to complete thier work in few clicks at ease. **What problems is XLMiner solving and how is that benefiting you?** Once this was the major tool for my project where I analyzed survey responses, engagement, and sales data from different marketing platforms to achieve 40% higher revenue than projected. ### 5. It can perform all statistical calculations and has a bunch of features molded into it. It can perform PCA analysis, decision tree analysis, MLR, MLE, KNN and many more. **What do you dislike about XLMiner?** It cannot handle too large a dataset, even hangs up at times. Tbe processing speed is lower since it is a module of excel **Recommendations to others considering XLMiner:** XL miner would be a stepping stone to understanding what data mining basically is. It is really easy to use and quite affordable if you are a working professional. **What do you dislike about XLMiner?** The interface of the software can be improved or can be made customizable for better presentation. **What problems is XLMiner solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is the software for professionals who do a lot of business predictions and forecasting. Compared to the in-built tools of Excel , Xl miner goes two steps ahead and helps to predict data quite accurately. The graph representations are included in the XL miner. segregating data is also possible in Xl miner. so it reduces my work to a great deal. ### 8. Another downside of using it was the lack of flexibility in implementing models. The tool handled the data sizes up to 1M rows. However, as I increased the datasets size, the tool was not that fast **What problems is XLMiner solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped me solve statistics homework questions. The main problems were around mining datasets that were around 1M rows. The fast to build visuals were a great help to come up with quick insights from the datasets. Also, the tool helped me to create simple linear models with easy to use UI ### 9. Rather just an add-on to Microsoft Excel. Just plug it in excel and mine the data from any excel sheet. Moreover, it delivers wide range of features bundled in just small sized tool. Its visual representation is too good with delineated report of selected data. The feature that makes this tool easy to use is its wide range of online support. There are huge piles of videos available on internet making this tool free to be learnt even at tyro level. Overall, an easy data mining tool with LOTS of functionality in a tiny package. **What do you dislike about XLMiner?** To look at the where XLMiner fells shorts is actually carrying on drawbacks of Excel. Most people prefer some other tools like python based platforms, simply because it is more robust and provide wide range of algorithms and facilities along with types of data that can be not be stored in excel.
