Winmill Software Reviews & Provider Details

Winmill builds and secures modern enterprise systems. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in New York City, Winmill is a technology services firm trusted by organizations across the United States and Canada, including much of the Fortune 500, to build the custom software their business runs on and then modernize and defend it. Winmill delivers its work through four practices. AI & Azure Solutions turns operations and unstructured data into intelligent workflows on Microsoft Azure and its AI and data platforms, helping teams move from manual effort to faster, better-informed decisions. Modern App & Cloud Engineering develops mission-critical enterprise applications and handles cloud migration, DevOps, and CI/CD engineering, from large multi-year systems to web portals and rapid MVPs. Cybersecurity finds and fixes weaknesses before attackers do, through penetration testing, application security, and cloud security for regulated and high-stakes environments. Data Center & IT Support keeps critical systems running through managed IT services, disaster recovery, and hosting in Winmill's own certified data center, independently audited for SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS compliance. What sets Winmill apart is that it does not stop at building software. The same engineers who develop enterprise applications work alongside dedicated penetration testers who break and harden them, so nothing slips through the seams between separate vendors. Each practice is led by senior practitioners with years in their discipline, and the firm's largest clients return for project after project because Winmill engineers software for the long haul. Winmill serves industries where reliability and security carry real consequences, including financial services, healthcare and medical devices, benefit funds and labor organizations, education and online learning, government and critical infrastructure, and media, sports, and professional services. Winmill is also the maker of eMembership, a highly configurable union membership management platform used by labor unions across the United States and Canada, from local chapters to international unions. eMembership adapts to each union's workflows rather than forcing a change in how they operate. From custom software development and Microsoft Azure cloud engineering to penetration testing, managed IT, and data center hosting, Winmill builds enterprise systems, defends them, and runs them.
