As working as wintel admin,I have experienced a good performance on windows 10 and 24*7 support provided by Microsoft including monthly patches. Application performance also very smooth on this windows version with low maintenance cost.You can customise the powershell and other inbuilt software as per requirement. **What do you dislike about Windows 10 IoT Core Services?** It have no such dislike points on this windows version.Only sometimes I have faced some intermittent issue but after latest patches it has been fixed. **What problems is Windows 10 IoT Core Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** Initially it has been taken some time to fix the issues on customized windows 10 image as per organisation requirements.But later it has been fixed in 2-3 updates. ### 2. The product is great if you don't need a full windows shell experience. **What do you dislike about Windows 10 IoT Core Services?** You don't get the full windows shell experience and you can only run a single universal windows program. The product could be better if you could run more than one. **What problems is Windows 10 IoT Core Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** The device is great to use for kiosk systems. While I can use the Internet to update the system, the updates are not Internet-dependent, you can use other methods. In some cases is a requirement). Having said that, on the technical side, I will say that its power comes from the ability to add, remove, manage items like PowerShell, Image Recognition, SSH, Bluetooth and do it fast. I like to use this LTSB Service along with Azure IoT Device Management since I can get excellent suggestions. Device Health Attention is very useful, so we can increase the security level in order to evaluate the device's security easily. You can use add-ins and create packages for IoT Core images. Those images may contain firmware, OEM drivers along with the Windows Operating System. Also, it's very cheap if I consider the benefits of deploying something stable quickly. Cents per device. **What do you dislike about Windows 10 IoT Core Services?** I'd love to see a better bridge for those who came from Windows Embedded Systems since this is basically a replacement. There are tools, but it's always more than welcomed to have extensive and detailed documentation and tools to migrate. So we don't really need to start from zero in the future. Therefore, this affects my decision to use the service or not. I believe there's room for improvement here. **Recommendations to others considering Windows 10 IoT Core Services:** I like the fact that everything is in one place (service) like Azure. To have at a glance everything I need to know in their web portal. **What problems is Windows 10 IoT Core Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** Basic, simple, cutting edge and stable deployment thru Azure. We work on site and remotely, so having everyone able to access information, no matter where they're at, is huge. We don't lose productivity while waiting for a file to be emailed.
