"Saving Time Screening New Graduates"
4/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

What I like most about Willo Video Interviewing is how intuitive and easy it is to set up and navigate. The platform makes it simple to create interview workflows quickly, which is especially valuable in fast-paced recruiting environments. From a campus recruiting perspective, it’s been particularly effective.we’re able to gather a high volume of candidate responses efficiently, and candidates consistently share positive feedback about their experience. Overall, it streamlines the process for both recruiters and candidates while maintaining a strong user experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

One area for improvement with Willo Video Interviewing is the assessment setup. It can feel too basic and lacks the level of structure needed for more comprehensive evaluations. For roles that require deeper screening or standardized scoring, the platform could benefit from more advanced customization options, such as structured assessment frameworks, weighted scoring, or more robust evaluation criteria. "Huge time saving tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

Before using Willo, our phone screens typically lasted 20 to 30 minutes, and sometimes stretched to 30 or even 45 minutes when candidates had difficulty being concise. After these calls, interviewers would write up feedback for the rest of the hiring team to review.

With Willo, we've saved significant time by limiting candidate responses to 2-3 minutes per question. Willo enables later interviewers to watch the recorded videos, giving them a chance to observe candidates' communication skills firsthand and feel more confident about who they'll be meeting. It has allowed others to speak into hiring decisions to make a more confident hire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

I wish there was an easier way to edit interview questions. It doesn't feel user friendly to have to go through multiple pages before/after editing just to change a single question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Matthew Best of Willo Video Interviewing

That shift from 30–45 minute calls down to 2–3 minute responses is a huge time saving — exactly where Willo can make the biggest impact. Really great to see how that’s helping your team move faster while still getting a clear view of each candidate.

Also great to hear it’s improving collaboration across your hiring team. Appreciate you sharing this, and thanks as well for the feedback on editing interview questions — really helpful as we continue to improve the experience.

"Willo Makes Candidate Screening Fast, Simple, and Efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

Willo works really well for us mainly as a candidate screening tool. It’s super easy for applicants to use since they just click a link and record their answers, which helps keep completion rates high and removes a lot of scheduling back-and-forth. On our side, the interface is clean and simple, so reviewing responses is quick and straightforward, especially for early-stage screening. It integrates with some ATS tools, which is helpful, though not super extensive if you’re running a more complex system. Performance-wise, it does exactly what we need for screening, but reviewing videos can still take time as volume grows. Pricing feels reasonable for the value it brings, especially in saving recruiter time during the initial stages. Onboarding was quick, and support has been solid whenever needed. The AI features like transcripts and summaries are nice to have, but overall we still rely on human judgment to make screening decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

What I personally dislike about Willo (especially when using it for candidate screening) is that it can feel a bit limited once you get past the basics. Reviewing candidates is straightforward, but it still requires a lot of manual effort since there’s no strong AI-driven ranking or deeper insights to quickly surface the best fits. The integrations are also somewhat restricted, so it doesn’t always flow seamlessly with more complex ATS setups. On top of that, as volume grows, going through each video one by one can get time-consuming, and the analytics side is fairly basic if you’re trying to make more data-driven hiring decisions. It does the core job well, but it doesn’t really go beyond screening into anything more intelligent or automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Matthew Best of Willo Video Interviewing

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re pleased to hear Willo is helping your team streamline candidate screening, reduce scheduling back-and-forth, and keep the process consistent as hiring volume grows.

We also really appreciate your feedback around AI-driven ranking, deeper insights, and reducing the manual effort involved in reviewing candidate responses. That’s exactly the kind of challenge we’ve been working to address with **Willo Insights**, our new feature designed to help teams surface stronger candidate signals faster and make screening decisions with greater confidence.

Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager as soon as possible to schedule an onboarding call — they’ll be able to walk you through Willo Insights and help you get set up.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback. It’s incredibly useful as we continue improving Willo for high-volume recruiting teams like yours.

"Intuitive Video Interviews, Needs More Flexibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

I find Willo Video Interviewing to be easy to use both for the candidates and ourselves. It's a safe platform that helps candidates share their image with more trust, solving an important part of the hiring process. I also like that we can always download content and find the platform very intuitive. The initial setup was pretty easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

I think it should have more options and not only rejected/approved. But for us, sometimes we need to send more materials and we need to use another platform to do it. Also we don't have the option to put the candidate in an intermediate stage, for example 'in progress', or 'waiting for decision', something like that. The search could be improved. Currently, the system doesn't recognize variations in accentuation, if a name is registered as 'Laís', searching for 'Lais' returns no results. It would be important for the search to be more flexible, considering common typing variations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about Willo Video Interviewing is the combination of simplicity, efficiency, and intuitive experience, both for recruiters and candidates. The flow is very clear, with quick setup of interviews. I like the ability to customize questions and the ease of reviewing and rating the videos. The practicality and clarity of the system really make the process more strategic, agile, and consistent. The initial setup was quite simple and intuitive, with a clear onboarding flow, which allows any member to start using the tool quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

It would be valuable to have broader integrations with ATS or more robust automation options, which would allow further centralization of the process steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Matthew Best of Willo Video Interviewing

Really appreciate you sharing this, Mikaela. Great to hear Willo is helping bring more structure, consistency, and efficiency to your selection process — especially being able to assess candidates earlier and make more strategic decisions.

Thanks as well for the feedback on integrations and automation — we’re continuing to expand our ATS integrations and broaden what they can do, including things like moving candidates into different statuses so it’s clear when they’re ready for review. If you’d like to explore that further, your Customer Success Manager would be happy to help.

What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

I find Willo Video Interviewing really easy to use, and it's received well across the business when we've shared links for people to review tests. It's just a really useful piece of kit. I also enjoy working with their customer service team because they solve issues quickly. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and their team helped a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

We would love to see more options for testing. If we were able to use the platform for both video interviewing and test, it would allow us to get rid of other technologies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Willo Makes Screening Faster, Fairer, and More Consistent... No regrets."
5/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

Willo interview screening is particularly helpful for saving time and creating a fair, consistent shortlisting process. Its asynchronous video interviews allow candidates to respond at a time that suits them, while hiring teams can review answers collaboratively and on their own schedule. For businesses, this significantly reduces early‑stage screening time, removes scheduling bottlenecks, and ensures every candidate is assessed against the same structured questions, supporting better and more objective hiring decisions at scale Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

The main drawback of Willo Video Interviewing is that it can feel less personal than live interviews, particularly for candidates who value real‑time interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredible Simplification for Interviews"
5/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

I like the simple and intuitive interface, the ease of setting up interviews, and the smooth experience for both recruiters and candidates. The ease of working in kanban and having a clear view of the funnel helps make tracking applications much more organized, allowing for quick and well-informed decisions. The platform is very functional and meets our current needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

There are few areas for improvement; what I see as an improvement would be to further expand the customization options for interviews and workflows. Additional automation resources and more detailed reports would help gain even more efficiency in the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Screening with Accurate Transcription"
5/5
What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?

I like the convenience of Willo Video Interviewing. The transcripting tool is the most accurate one I've seen, which is really beneficial for me, especially since I sometimes struggle with auditory processing. Also, it's very easy to use. The setup was super easy and didn't involve much, which I found very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?

We don't use video. We only use audio because we have found that candidates don't really like the one way video format, but they are more willing to do written and audio responses. So I'm not sure that's really something that Willo can improve. I think it's just a public perception issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
